Finally, they got it! 😎 Well, I still had to set it up again. But they left the toms on the cymbsl stand base. Almost perfect, I would say! 🤗

Repetition is the mother of all studies! If you are used to a specific set up, just try to change it. Play it for a while and see how it feels! Maybe you don't like it, but if you do and you feel better, it may help you ceating new ideas! Therefore...

Look at the two set ups and tell me which one is more ergonomical. I think the second one with the toms on the cymbal stand and the ride cymbal mounted on the bassdrum. The guys and gals on the drums from the brass band who own this drum set seem to like the first one more. Therfore they rebuild it each and every time I change it. For me it's obvious what's better. But who I am and what do I know about ergonomic drum set ups?! 😆

I teach the students of a local brass band on Mondays. Yesterday I thought it's time to change something on the set up of their drum set. I removed the Toms from the Bassdrum and put the double tom holder into a cymbal stand base, switched the cymbal arm to the bassdrum braket, and placed the ride cymbal on it. For me it's now way more comfortable to play on it. What do you think?
