The ethical and qualified standards of the International Association of NLP Institutes (here and after referred to as IN) are an expression of the self-understanding and commitment by the representatives of all IN-member institutions and their coaches from Australia to China, the Arab countries, Europe, the United States to Brazil. The ethical code is the foundation of our understanding and qualit
y of interpersonal communication within the IN and beyond. We commit ourselves to high ethical standards at the level of the seventh Graves level for the benefit of all people for the development and maintenance of justice and peace worldwide. About NLPsychology:
NLP has been under steady development over the last 40 years. The emphasis during the introduction phase was put on the modelling and programming by the NLP inventors, which lead to the term Neuro-Lingustic- “Programming”. In the meantime, members of the International Association of NLP Institutes (IN) and the International Association of Coaching Institutes (ICI) refined NLP to applied “Psychology”. It’s time to structure the gathered knowledge in order to examine the findings in a scientific manner to be able to develop the practical application furthermore. Neuro-Lingustic Psychology can be understood as an applied psychology which offers concrete and practical applications for a successful and happy life lived to the full based on objective, reliable and valid facts. The IN consults the Universidad Central de Nicaragua (UCN) accomplishing the international distance study program in Psychology with the focus on NLP and Coaching. Within the scope of Master (MA) theses and Doctoral (Dr./PhD) dissertations is research conducted directed to the effectiveness of NLP and Coaching. The big step we are taking - beginning with changing programming to psychology - is an attempt to get more knowledge about NLP and to achieve higher ethical standards in using it. Therefore NLPsychology is meant to be especially available for people with psychological background. Stimulating discussions and criticism about this topic is more than welcome. About the ICI (International Association of Coaching Institutes) partnership:
The IN and ICI share a common background in terms of their ethical code, quality standard and the humanistic world view. Therefore, both the IN and ICI maintain a close partnership due to aiming towards common goals, achievements and training.
