As part of our international team, you will:
✨ Build and maintain an international network of researchers and academic partners
🌐 Plan, coordinate, and organize international events, exchange programs, and collaborative initiatives in the field of Smart Materials
🎓 Contribute to the development of career opportunities for graduates pursuing careers in academia, industry, and entrepreneurship
📚 Coordinate and manage international academic study programs
🤝 Act as the key liaison between the European School of Materials (EUSMAT) and the Center for Intelligent Material Systems (CiMS)

What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline
- Master's degree or equivalent scientific qualification is an advantage
- Experience in project management and presenting technical or scientific topics
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proactive, well-organized, and communicative approach to work

One of our current AMASE students at Saarland University participated in the "Alpine Europe: Innovation in the Circular Economy" summer school. 💡 This event is an immersive two-week program in Slovenia exploring sustainable built environments and the timber value chain. Jointly led by the ⁠University of Primorska and Oregon State University, it blends lectures, hands-on workshops, and field visits to industry leaders and cultural sites across Slovenia.

🤝 His participation was possible through Transform4Europe and was supported by Erasmus+ funding.

The NFDI-MatWerk & FAIRmat Spring School was a total success! 📊

👉 EUSMAT is part of the organizing team of the NFDI spring schools. This time, the event took place from April 13th to 16th at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and offered different theoretical as well as hands-on sessions about Research Data Management in Materials Science and Engineering.

From FAIR data principles and RDM basics to hands-on sessions with tools like NOMAD, NOMAD CAMELS, PASTA ELN, and Coscine, the program combined theory with practice in a highly interactive setting. 💻

The spring school concluded with insights into AI/ML, emphasizing how well-managed research data enables machine-readable, data-driven science.

Thank you to the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), MatWerk and FAIRMat, as well as everyone who joined and contributed to this event! 🙏
