Today, Gisma students had the opportunity to visit SAP, where they gained valuable insights into one of the world's leading technology companies.
 
The visit featured an engaging SAP Overview, an inspiring Expert Session, and an Office Tour, giving students a closer look at SAP's innovative work environment and the technologies shaping the future of business.
 
Experiences like these bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice, helping our students build meaningful connections and gain first-hand exposure to global organisations.

Gisma organised a student visit to GITEX AI Europe 2026 in Berlin on 30 June and 01 July, giving students the opportunity to experience one of the world’s leading global platforms for artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, startups, cybersecurity, cloud, quantum, climate tech, and digital innovation.


The visit allowed students to gain first-hand exposure to how emerging technologies are being applied across industries and how artificial intelligence continues to shape global innovation and future business models.

We extend our sincere thanks to our faculty colleagues for accompanying the student group and supporting their learning experience throughout the visit. We also acknowledge our students for their active participation, enthusiasm, and engagement during the event.

Our International Supply Chain Management students recently explored the complexities of modern global supply chains through an in-depth project focused on Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), one of Germany’s most significant aviation and logistics hubs.

Under the guidance of Professor Waseem Haider, students analysed how geopolitical shifts, economic uncertainty, digital transformation, cybersecurity challenges, and evolving trade dynamics impact supply chain performance and resilience.

From examining operational efficiency to assessing long-term sustainability and risk management strategies, this hands-on project provided valuable insights into the critical role airports play as strategic supply chain ecosystems connecting businesses, economies, and communities worldwide.
