The Super-PTM fully automatically tests completely connected distribution boards, including Type A and Type B RCDs.

Each socket is tested for low resistance and phase alignment (L1-L2-L3-N and PE) using high-quality four-wire measurement.

The test results are assigned to each numbered connection point in the report.

Mains cables are also included.

Devices and machines from 16A / 230V to 3x 32A / 400V.

We promised an evolution of our testing systems at the end of 2024, and we delivered!

Power Quality Teaching Tool

"A master has fallen far more often than a student has ever tried."

It's a balancing act when you want to impressively, comprehensibly, and realistically simulate interference emissions and grid overloads.

Sometimes we end up burning out our variable transformers.

Nice effect. But in the long run, it's complex and expensive. 🙂

But our generator load with inrush current peaks and significant voltage drop works great! 👍🏻
It wasn't easy to get the components for the mechanical transmission via toothed belt.

Now we're moving on to the final wiring and testing.

Let's see how many more times we have to fall and get back up.

Linksdrehfeld muss nicht falsch sein!

Über die vielfältigen Schutzfunktionen des DPRCD-MI 400 V haben wir schon berichtet.

In der Praxis am Filmset oder Event kann es schon mal vorkommen, dass in einer Location ein Linksdrehfeld zur Verfügung steht.
Die LEDs im mobilen Multifunktionsmodul zeigen das vorhandene Drehfeld an.

Das kann man ohne größeren Aufwand am praktischen Mennekes CEE 16 A / 400 V (auch bis 63 A) Stecker einstellen wie man es braucht.

Power Quality Teaching Tool

This still looks quite chaotic!

Our Power Quality teaching tool consists of two modules with multiple measurement points for analyzers to display impedances and distortions at the feed point (Module 1) and after a 10-meter connecting cable at the input to Module 2.

Before we neatly install the wiring, we need to perform some tests.

Inrush current through a 3P power capacitor and an old contactor with bouncing contacts.

Asymmetrical voltages and impedances due to autotransformers L1-L2-L3.

Triac triggering with voltage dips and harmonics.

Electric motor with frequency converter and load profile using a mini-generator and heating elements.

Multiple power strip to generate various sources of interference.

Once we're finished, we'll show and describe the trend recordings.
