Staying with the Irish theme for a second... This arrangement of The Parting Glass by Samantha Muir kept coming up in my stream a lot, lately. And since it was so nice and I love the song, I downloaded one of her songbooks, today.
So here is a first go. Challenging, but in a good way 😁

Recently I saw the new Rock & Pop Classics for Low-G-Ukulele by Patrick Steinbach. The first one was great, so I had to get it! And while I got that, I noticed his older book Irish Ukulele Fingerstyle. Got that, as well.
It just arrived. Here is an early try of Wraggle Taggle Gypsies. Playing could still improve, but it gives you an idea of the type of arrangement you will find in the book! Love it!

Yesterday, I just so made it to the uke meetup in Frankfurt... for the last 25 minutes 😅 I met Gwendolyn Völker, who gave me Hardy C. Lugerths latest book, the Peter Pan Suite. So now I had a first look, just playing the Overture. And hey, I managed to lull my son to sleep with it! Drifting off into dreamland... now I might do the same.

A sunny evening in the car, perfect for this languid little tune by Hardy C. Lugerth... The Friendly John Hurt. A real first-take one-take 😁 Luckily this is a nice and easy piece. The rest of the time I was mostly still playing the Cypress Blues. Because it's just great!
