Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year!
In diesem ersten Monat des Jahres 2025 wird es leider weder ein Burns Supper (ab jetzt nur noch alle 2 Jahre im Wechsel mit Nürnberg) noch einen Afternoon Tea geben.
Aber es lohnt sich, den nächsten Afternoon Tea Termin vorzumerken:
Am 21. Februar gibt es im Café Diele des Babylon Kinos ab 16 Uhr wieder die leckeren Scones und Sandwiches.
Der Vortrag um ca. 16:45 Uhr von Modeschülerinnen aus Glasgow auf Englisch mit dem Titel "How to make a tartan" wird sicher sehr interessant.

Our Art and Design department was delighted to receive a visit from Germany's Modeschulen Nürnberg B5 Fashion School as part of their Erasmus project.

The exhibition featured Siobhan’s design for SELF ESTEEM which was debuted during a sensational performance at Big Weekend 🎶

We are excited to announce our victory at the Green Gown Awards in the category of Next Generation Learning & Skills for our outstanding fashion project, 'Fighting Fast Fashion.'⠀

On the 30th of November in Liverpool, Sandra Thomson, Sarah Shea, and Iain Gordon proudly accepted the award on behalf of the College and all contributors to this remarkable initiative.⠀

Our winning entry featured two impactful projects, 'The Bridal Project' and 'Project Runway,' engaging fashion students and school pupils in eco-friendly challenges by reusing and transforming garments.⠀

Our students put a lot of hard work into these projects and it is due to them that we are now celebrating this fantastic win.
Congratulations to them and a huge round of applause to everyone that supported them and got involved
