What do you do every day?
Here we're using the present simple to speak about our habits; things we do every day.
The present simple form of the verb only changes for he, she, and it (see the second slide) by adding 's'
I get - she gets
I clean - she cleans
I work - she works
Some verbs add 'es'
I go - she goes
I brush - she brushes
Be careful with the verb 'to be'
I am - she is
Compare your daily routine with someone you know:
I get up at 7 am but my sister gets up at 9 am.
I usually work from 9 to 5 but my friend works from 7 to 4!

Where are you from? 🌍
Try to avoid one-word answers! Add some extra details to make your conversation more interesting and flow onto the next topic.
As for me, I'm from a large town in the east of England. It's one of the oldest towns in England and has lots of Roman ruins.

🍺 An alcoholic is a person who is addicted to drinking alcohol.
'Alcoholic' can also be an adjective to describe whether a drink contains alcohol – an alcoholic drink 🍸, or if it doesn't – a non-alcoholic drink 🥤
We can also blend the word alcoholic + shop, chocolate, and work to create these 'addictions' which may be serious or just things someone enjoys a lot!
🛍 I'm a bit of a shopaholic, I love going shopping on Saturdays!
🍫 She's a complete chocoholic, she ate the present she bought me on her way to my party!
👩💻 You're becoming a workaholic, can't you leave the office on time for once?
Do you know any shopaholics, chocoholics, or workaholics?
