A safer roof means easier maintenance, clearer processes and less effort every time someone needs access.

At medicos Reha GmbH & Co. KG, our 2.0 was installed to provide collective fall protection for work on the rooftop. Instead of relying solely on personal fall protection equipment, the guardrail creates a permanently protected working area along the roof edge, helping make recurring maintenance and service work more straightforward.

For operators, that can mean a real practical advantage: easier access planning, fewer individual safety steps for routine work and a solution that is already in place when the next inspection or maintenance job comes up.

The installation itself also shows what rooftop safety projects often involve in practice. Components need to reach the roof efficiently, the system has to fit the building and the final setup should interfere as little as possible with ongoing operations.

And in this case, there is one more detail that is hard to ignore: the -Arena is right next door.

So yes, the football reference was inevitable.

Because whether on the pitch or on the roof, a solid defence makes a difference.

No fixed anchor point on site? A suitable doorway may provide the solution.The turns a suitable door opening into a temporary mobile anchor point within a short time. This gives work-at-height and rescue teams more flexibility when no permanent anchorage is available. The lightweight aluminium crossbar can be adjusted to door widths from 60 to 110 centimetres and can secure up to two people at the same time. Rounded edges and plastic end caps help protect both the users and the door frame during installation and use. : one of the most interesting parts of Safety Expo might happen after you leave the exhibition hall. On 16. - 17. September, you’ll find SKYLOTEC at Hall A, Booth 53 in Bergamo.

But this time, the booth is only part of the experience.

On both exhibition days, we’re planning a guided tour of our production site in Cisano Bergamasco, giving you a closer look at our product development, manufacturing and the people behind our solutions. The plan: meet us at the SKYLOTEC booth at around 14:30, take the organised shuttle to Cisano Bergamasco and spend the afternoon with our team until approximately 18:30.

It’s an opportunity to see where our products come to life, talk directly with our experts and discuss your own projects and safety requirements beyond the usual trade fair setting.

Protect people working on the roof without penetrating the membrane or installing an unnecessarily complex system.

The SECU® RAIL 2.0 protection system provides collective protection for maintenance, installation and inspection work. Supported by the roof structure, it creates a secure working area while preserving the integrity of the roof membrane.

Although the terms and protection are often used interchangeably, they serve different purposes. Traditional railings are frequently designed for publicly accessible areas and may need to withstand horizontal loads of up to 150 kg. These requirements can make the system more complex and expensive.

SECU® RAIL 2.0, by contrast, is specifically designed for temporary work on roofs and meets the requirements of EN 13374, equipment class A.
