Graduation Day at IBSM ✨🎓 What a special day! Today, we celebrated our Grade 4 students as they marked the end of an important chapter and took their next big step forward.

As the mortarboards (the traditional graduation hats) flew into the air, it marked the highlight of a day filled with joy, pride, and excitement for the future. Together with their families, our graduates celebrated a truly unforgettable milestone.

One of the day's most memorable moments was our Head of School, who took on the role of a fortune teller, offering a fun and imaginative glimpse into the students' futures. Meanwhile, our wonderful PTO provided delicious snacks and refreshments for everyone to enjoy—a heartfelt thank you for your support!

Another meaningful highlight was the Tree Hanging Ceremony, where each student tied a colorful ribbon to a tree as a symbol of cherished memories, hopes, and the beginning of a new chapter.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and can't wait to see where your journey takes you next.

Vergangenen Sonntag waren wir bei den Bildungstagen München im Literaturhaus vertreten. Unser Stand war durchgehend sehr gut besucht und der Austausch mit vielen interessierten Eltern war echt intensiv und inspirierend. 🤩

Ein besonderes Highlight war der Impulsvortrag von IBSM Schulleitung Barbara Cox zum Thema „Lernen für die Welt von morgen“. 🌍

Last Sunday, the International Bilingual School Munich took part in the Bildungstage München at the Literaturhaus. Our booth was consistently very well attended, and the exchange with many interested parents was both engaging and inspiring.

A special highlight was the keynote by Ms Cox on “Learning for the world of tomorrow.” 🌍

After many years of planning, the new campus buildings have been making good progress for the past few months 💪 We are building a large school building with a kindergarten and renovating an old villa that will house our daycare center 🥳 We look forward to welcoming you to the new buildings soon 😍 More information and the newsletter registration so you don't miss anything can be found on our website (link in the bio) 👍

🌞 Sommerferien, wir kommen! 🌍✈️
Unsere 2. Klasse hat im Juni und Juli ein kreatives internationales Projekt gestartet – gemeinsam mit einer Grundschule in Aspley Guise (England)! 🇬🇧💬 Die Kinder haben ihre Sommerträume in Pop-up-Büchern zum Leben erweckt, Spiele für die Partnerklasse gestaltet und sich per Video-Call ausgetauscht. Das Ergebnis: bunte, kreative Sommergeschichten, die Lust auf Ferien machen und ein Stück internationale Freundschaft zeigen! 🥰📖 Ein paar der tollen Büchlein seht ihr hier auf den Bildern!

🌞 Summer holidays, here we come! 🌍✈️
Our 2nd graders kicked off an exciting international project in June & July – together with a primary school in Aspley Guise, England! 🇬🇧💬 The children brought their summer dreams to life in pop-up books, created fun games for their partner class, and connected via video calls to share their ideas. The result: colorful, creative summer stories that capture the holiday spirit and celebrate international friendship! 🥰📖 ✨ Check out some of their amazing creations in the pictures!
