Something that social media sells nowadays is a change in 30, 60, 90 days or in 8 weeks, which is undoubtedly possible; I see it constantly in my clients. Good training with a personalized nutrition plan usually makes the body react quickly to a radical change. But what is rarely talked about is how to maintain it over time and keep improving, or how to come back again and again when motivation might not be there, and understanding that the main thing is to have discipline and good habits.
Training over the years, beyond giving us a specific aesthetic, changes how we think, how we overcome our daily challenges, and helps us see that it’s not about pushing ourselves hard in the short term only to relapse again, but that there are moments of high intensity and focus, and others where motivation is not as high, which is part of the process because each of us has our own rhythm and lifestyle.
It’s important to applaud yourself👏🏾 when you take those small steps, enjoy the process, and love yourself in all your forms. When you suddenly look back, you say: “wow, what a change I’ve made!.❤️💪🏽
The best part is when you notice that your mind and body function better than before you started with your goal because you have maintained that consistency, you realize that indeed the long term is the beautiful part.
