Call for Papers Digestive Surgery

Digestive Surgery, with an Impact Factor of 2.7 and CiteScore of 5.2, is an international journal for gastrointestinal surgeons edited by Prof. Mark I. van Berge Henegouwen (Amsterdam UMC, University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands) and Prof. Roberto Salvia (University of Verona, Verona, Italy), focusing on gastrointestinal surgery.

The European Digestive Surgery society and Karger Publishers are pleased to announce an open call for papers on Colorectal Cancer with a submission deadline of May 31, 2024. Researchers are welcome to contribute Research Articles, Systematic Reviews, and Review Articles to this collection, focusing on current and forthcoming opportunities for the diagnosis, screening processes, and multimodal treatment of CRC. Ensuring a thorough and rapid peer-review process by a highly selective, international expert panel, we are eager to provide the community with the latest insights on CRC from a surgical perspective, with the aim to inform clinical practice and future research.

The Editors-in-Chief of Digestive Surgery believe that an article collection specifically dedicated to CRC is now crucial to accelerate the comprehension of the disease, its biological peculiarities, as well as current and future surgical approaches integrated with the most recent advances in molecular treatments.
