We would be happy to welcome you to our Open day on October 13, 2018, at Karlstr. 45. Our department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has organized an interesting program!

Karlstr. 45, 14h-18h, demonstration of different robots:

- RoboCup@Home: students and staff members from the course will demonstrate their robot from 14.30h on every hour on the basement.

Pick and deliver objects to the professor - RoboCup@Home SS2018 01/08/2018

This video presents the results from the final project of the practical course RoboCup@Home summer semester 2018. The team name was "Bavarian Robot Work" conformed by Chao D**g, Ji Cheng and Weiqi Luo. They presented the project "Pick and deliver objects to the professor". The goal of the project is to recognize the operator from gestures, identify and grasp the object that will be delivered to the professor. After grasping the object, the robot will go to different rooms to find the professor. The robot will stop and deliver the grasped object once the professor is found.

TIAGo Shopping Service Robot - RoboCup@Home SS2018 30/07/2018

This video presents the final project from the team "God Watcher" conformed by Zhong Chen, Yinan Shi, Sen Wang, and Yanglu Zeng. These results were obtained as part of the practical project "RoboCup@Home" during the summer semester 2018. The goal of this project entitled "TIAGo Shopping Service Robot" consists on learning on-line a new operator, pick up a bag of groceries from the operator's hand and follow the operator to a destination place. Finally, the robot will release the grocery bag to the operator once the destination has been reached.
