What is the life cycle of the Rosechafer? Did you know that the larva stage is two years long under the ground? Why adults have so many 'holes' on their skin? 🔍😃Todays class at the International Montessori Preschool English Speaking was on the beautiful Rosechafer, its behavior, anatomy and life cycle. We observed the larva and cocoon stage with lenses and the adult anatomy with the microscopes. What a fascinating animal! 🪲😍

Did you know that butterflies can taste with their feet? and that their eyes are made of 6 thousands lens? and when they fly they move their wings in a figure-8 motion? What an amazing close examinations of butterflies and their behavior with did with the 1st and 2nd graders of the European School! 🦋🦋🦋🔍😃
