Das Kind wird jedoch Schritt für Schritt lernen und Fortschritte machen. Eines Tages wird sie es durch ihren Prozess schaffen.
Wenn sie es am Ende gut hinbekommt, wird sie alles überwinden.

Hi, I am KUMON instructor in München-Schwabing.
And I am also a mother with children, who does KUMON at home.
It is very stressful sometime to make your child to do KUMON.
I’ve been there and I will be there again.😉

Record book part 1-3.
How she starts doing KUMON every day.

What I tried is simple: repeat those following cycle 1 to 3.

1.Prepared her mind-set
Talk to her person to person that it is important and good for HER to do KUMON every day.

2.Prepare her environment to be able to focus on worksheets.
Physically: Not hungry, not thirsty, toilet done, tie hair if necessary.
Environmentally: Have 2 pencils, eraser, KUMON worksheets and watches. Nothing else on the table.

3. Recognize her achievements and tell her what you liked about her process today.

1.Prepare mentally for tomorrow what is coming by asking her.
we make planning together to be able to follow the sequences of the set.
And repeat 2.3.1.2.3.1.2.3.1.2.3.

These pencil go shorter and shorter, if you work for yourself every day. 😊

Yes, She did it every single day KUMON in November. 👏👏👏
10 pages are the most, 2 pages are the minimum.
Total pages she worked in Nov are 150 pages.
She worked on and on and on, little by little.
Can you imagine, she hated KUMON before?

If you learn only center day.
2 times a week 5 to 10 pages, it will lead to 40 to 80 pages a month.

So she did it almost 2 times-4 times more pages by doing step by step. One day, she told me that I will not eat a carrot, but I will do KUMON. 🤔🤣

Question is why she changed...
I will keep learning with her and tell you soon what has been changed.

"No student wants to forget something"
every child wants to do things right, but somehow they can not do right. Then what can I do to support them?

Sometime ago, I mentioned that the student start doing KUMON every day. this was the same student earlier this year.

Basically, she didn't want to do KUMON.
She didn't know why she is doing it.
As you can see, it took her way too long to learn from KUMON set.

and I thought....
What is wrong?
Why she doesn't want to do it?
Does she hate KUMON, really?
Does she hate me?
How can I help her to improve her skill, attitude and understandings?
