Great news! We are adding new English-language modules to the curriculum next semester. The latest new course to be announced is "International Taxation" which will be taught by Prof Beate Burgfeld-Schächer.

*** Pub English *** Join us for the first Pub English of the new semester on Wednesday, 5th April from 8:30pm at the Postkeller in Meschede. Meet new people, play games and talk English - with the help of a little beer if necessary. Everyone welcome!

** Summer Semester 2017 **

We are still busy working on the timetable for next semester but the English-language classes we will have on offer are all confirmed:

Business English
Business Skills
Cross-Cultural Communication
Doing Business with Britain
Germany: Language and Culture
Model United Nations
Organizational Communication

All classes (except Germany: Language and Culture) will be for mixed groups of German and international students. The exam for Business English will not take place until September so sadly that probably makes it unsuitable for exchange students.

We will publish full timetable information here as soon as it is available.

Watch the European Championship on the big screen - courtesy of the St Georg Schützenbruderschaft.

Wer sich 2016 auf den europäischen Fußballthron setzt, wissen Spieler und Fans am 10. Juli. An diesem Tag wird nämlich das Endspiel der EM 2016 ausgetragen und damit der neue Europameister ermittelt. Bis der Sieger der EM 2016 feststeht, müssen 51 Partien ausgetragen werden. Für die Fans gibt es also viel zu jubeln und zu feiern - und das natürlich auch wieder in der St. Georgs-Halle in Meschede.
Denn auch in diesem Jahr findet bei allen Spielen mit deutscher Beteiligung das Public Viewing in Meschede erneut wie bei den letzten großen Fußballmeisterschaften „auf der Halle“ statt.
Also packt Eure Fanartikel und feiert gemeinsam mit hunderten Fans. Bei kühlen Getränken und selbstverständlich der obligatorischen „Stadionwurst“ werden wir bei jedem Spiel unserer Nationalelf mitfiebern.
Los geht es mit dem ersten Gruppenspiel gegen die Ukraine am 12. Juni. Anstoß ist um 21:00 Uhr und Einlass jeweils eine Stunde vor Anpfiff.
