Dear colleagues,

we are pleased to announce version 1.3 of AKU-PAL, a digital paleography of hieratic and cursive hieroglyphs.

The new features include:
⁃ The number of hieratograms is now displayed in the paleographic view
⁃ The search for numbers from Georg Möller’s paleography is possible now
⁃ Bibliographic information on the individual hieratogram is shown
⁃ The stroke sequence of individual hieratograms is now represented as a vector graphic
⁃ The image quality of the raster graphics has been considerably improved
⁃ Datings can now be searched granularly by epoch, dynasty, ruler and much more

In addition, over 1600 new hieratograms and 20 graphemes are available!
