📞 Interpreting in the Dark: A Journey of Adaptation and Teamwork 🌟

A few weeks ago, I faced one of my most challenging interpreting experiences yet. Instead of the usual on-site or digital platforms like Zoom, I was asked to facilitate translations over the phone as my clients demonstrated a machine to potential customers in a location with poor WiFi. I was, quite literally, interpreting "in the dark."

Initially, it felt daunting:
- Unable to see what was happening, I worried: "How will this work?" It required a new level of adaptability and resourcefulness.

The Solution:
- My clients became my eyes, explaining each step in detail and describing their surroundings, allowing me to visualize and bridge the communication gap effectively.

The Outcome:
- To my relief, the session flowed seamlessly. Everyone was pleased with the results—perhaps none more so than me, brimming with gratitude for the team's support on-site and their encouragement.

I’m blessed with wonderful clients, whose collaboration and resourcefulness turn challenges into shared successes. Every hurdle is an opportunity to grow and learn together. 🙌
