MCB Brain Plast Conference The 1st International Conference on Brain Plasticity linking Molecules, Cells & Behavior (MCB Brain Plast) will take place in the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology Magdeburg September 2017.

Also Max Happel is part of the MCB BrainPlast team! This is his research statement: "My name is Max Happel. I am heading the CortXplorer group at the Leibniz-Institute for Neurobiology in Magdeburg. It is our mission to better understand cognitively complex learning and decision processes in laboratory rodents at the level of interacting neuronal circuits. We focus on experience-dependent reorganizations of circuits in auditory cortex during acoustic learning."

Iris Müller is also part of our team! This is her research agenda: "I am interested in adaptive and maladaptive stress responses and how they manifest on a molecular and behavioural level. In this context, I use classical and operant conditioning paradigms to
model different aspects of psychiatric disorders."

Anne Albrecht is member of the MCBBrainPlast organizing committee! This is her research agenda: "Combining behavioral, molecular and electrophysiological approaches, I investigate how stress experiences throughout the lifetime influence cognitive processes and how especially the GABAergic system contributes to stress resilience and vulnerability."
