🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from QSI Münster! 🍀
Our elementary students had a magical afternoon as they set off on a hunt for the sneaky leprechaun—following clues, searching high and low, and sharing lots of laughter along the way! They wrapped up the adventure with some fun green treats to celebrate the day.
We love creating joyful moments like these that spark imagination and bring our school community together. 🌈
Wishing everyone a day filled with a little extra luck and a lot of smiles! 🍀

🌍 Happy International Kindness Day! 💛
Yesterday we celebrated kindness in a creative way—by painting rocks with uplifting messages and vibrant designs. Student then placed these stones around the city for others to find.
These little tokens of positivity will brighten someone’s day and remind us that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.
✨ Kindness starts with us—what’s your favorite way to spread it?

✨ Classroom Spotlight: 9–10 YO
At the end of September, our students discovered they’re all fantastic storytellers!
We explored the classic story arc, designed creative plots, and used “story dice” for fun prompts and challenges. The teamwork, laughter, and imagination were inspiring—can’t wait to see their narrative masterpieces come to life! 📚🎲

📚 Author Study Spotlight: Mo Willems! 📚
Our 7- & 8-year-old students wrapped up September with an exciting Author Study Project on Mo Willems!
They explored Willems’ playful illustration style, created their own books inspired by his stories, and even shared their projects with our preschoolers.
💛 Watching our students shine as writers, illustrators, and storytellers and pass on their love of reading to younger Lions was truly inspiring! 🦁

🍎“One Apple Up on Top” in the 5- and 6-Year-Old Class! 🍎
Our young learners have kicked off an exciting new theme: apples! From writing and counting to singing and tasting, apples are helping us explore learning with all five senses. 👀👂👃✋👅
This week, we became scientists—learning how apples grow, tasting red, yellow, and green varieties, and even testing a big question: “Will apples float or sink?” 🧪💦 After making hypotheses and running our experiment, we discovered that apples float because they’re full of tiny air pockets! 🍏🍎🍏
Next week, we’ll take our learning to the kitchen as we make homemade applesauce together. We can’t wait for our classroom to smell as sweet as it will taste! 😋

Secondary Literature Students Dive into Change & Growth 📚
Our secondary students have kicked off the year by exploring two timeless poems:
🌿 The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
🐚 The Chambered Nautilus by Oliver Wendell Holmes
Through reading, reflection, and visualization, students connected these classics to their own lives—considering choices, growth, and the courage to leave things behind in order to move forward.
This lesson also emphasized the balance between personal interpretation and the thoughtful use of AI tools—encouraging students to trust their own insights first, and then expand their learning with technology.
As we move forward, we’ll keep reminding our learners to “leave their outgrown shell” and bravely take their own “road less traveled.” 💡🌍
