Holiday Closure Notice: The International Office will be closed from 22 December 2025 to 2 January 2026. Any changes to opening hours of the Guesthouse Office will be communicated directly to all Guesthouse tenants. Regular office hours will resume on 5 January 2026.

[Important information] Change in the Rectorate of the University of Münster: Prof. Dr Susanne Menzel Riedl has been elected as the next Rector of the University of Münster. During her campaign, she identified the promotion of cutting edge research, the quality of study programmes, the expansion of internationalisation, career and personnel development, and digitalisation as some of the University's most important current issues. She will officially take office on 1 October 2026. Read on via news article: https://uni.ms/0qx8f

Prof. Dr. Susanne Menzel-Riedl wird am 1. Oktober 2026 neue Rektorin der Universität Münster. Sie tritt damit die Nachfolge von Prof. Dr. Johannes Wessels an, der die Universität seit 2016 leitet.

Seit Oktober 2019 ist Susanne Menzel-Riedl Präsidentin der Universität Osnabrück. Im November 2022 wurde sie zur Vorsitzenden der Landeshochschulkonferenz Niedersachsen gewählt; seit Dezember 2023 ist sie zudem Vizepräsidentin für Hochschulsystem und Organisation der Hochschulrektorenkonferenz.
