*IT'S ALWAYS IN YOUR INTEREST*

*Tuesday, October 6th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son... (John 3:16).*_

One of the greatest truths to understand in your walk with God is that He never asks anything of you for His benefit. Whenever He instructs, guides, corrects or directs you, it's always in your interest. Everything He does is motivated by His love for you and His desire to bring you into the fullness of His greater blessings and purpose for your life.

Consider what He did through Jesus Christ. He gave His Son for us. Jesus laid down His life, bore our sins, and rose triumphantly from the dead to bring us into fellowship with the Father. Yet His love didn't stop there. Having been exalted to the place of supreme authority and glory, He chose to share that inheritance with us. The Bible says we're _*"...heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ..."*_ (Romans 8:17).

Think about it: The One who possesses all things didn't simply bless us from His abundance; He brought us into joint ownership. This helps us understand God's dealings with us. Never view or relate with His instructions through the lens of loss or sacrifice. Rather, see them as expressions of His love and wisdom.

Trust His Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life, knowing that He has your highest good at heart. He loves you more than you love yourself. He’s more passionate about your success than you could ever be. The God who gave His Son for you and made you a joint-heir with Christ will never lead you into anything that isn't ultimately in your best interest.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for your immeasurable love and goodness toward me. I trust your wisdom and your guidance, knowing that every instruction you give is motivated by your love and designed for my benefit. My heart is yielded to you, and I walk confidently in your perfect will, with full assurance that your plans for me are excellent and designed for my blessing, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY 5TH OCTOBER 2026

PST. CHRIS

HE KNOWS MORE THAN YOU DO
and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? (Esther 4:14).

There’re moments in life when God calls you to act, give, speak, serve, or take a stand, and you may not fully understand the significance of what He's asking of you. At such times, it's important to remember a simple truth: He knows more than you do.

Consider the woman who broke her alabaster box of precious ointment and poured it on the Lord Jesus (Matthew 26:7). The disciples condemned her act as wasteful. They thought the ointment should have been sold and the money given to the poor; they were upset (Matthew 26:8-9).

But the Lord saw what they couldn't see and said, …Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me…For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial” (Matthew 26:10-12). Then the Lord made a most remarkable statement in verse 13 that wherever the Gospel would be preached throughout the world, her act would be remembered.

The woman didn't fully understand the eternal significance of what she had done, but the Lord did. The same truth is seen in the story of Esther. As queen, she had a position of influence, but when her people faced destruction, Mordecai challenged her to recognise the significance of her place and time, saying, …who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14).

What seemed like a personal decision for Esther carried consequences for an entire nation. God had positioned her for a purpose greater than she could see. Many times, the Lord's instructions are connected to realities beyond our present understanding. He sees the future.

He knows the impact of your obedience. He understands the eternal value of the choices He places before you. That's why you can trust Him completely. When He directs you, He's not trying to take something from you; He's leading you into His greater purpose for your life and into blessings whose full significance may not yet be apparent.

Therefore, trust His wisdom above your own reasoning. When He calls, respond. When He directs, obey. When He opens a door for service, sacrifice, or commitment, embrace it with joy. He sees what you cannot see, and He knows more than you do.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your wisdom, love and guidance in my life. I trust your plans and purposes for me, knowing that you see beyond the present and understand the eternal significance of every step of my obedience. My heart is yielded to your leading, and I walk confidently in the path you have ordained for me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Esther 4:13-14 KJV
Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews. [14] For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Mark 14:8-9 KJV
She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. [9] Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

*WE'VE GOT SOMETHING BETTER*

*Sunday, October 4th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).*_

When you read about the men and women of faith in the Old Testament, it's impossible not to be inspired by their extraordinary feats of faith and experiences with God. Take Caleb, for example. He declared at eighty-five years of age, _*"As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me..."*_ (Joshua 14:11).

Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he departed this world, yet the Bible says, _*"…his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated"*_ (Deuteronomy 34:7). These were remarkable manifestations of God's power under the Old Covenant. But as wonderful as those accounts are, we have something better. We have the Holy Spirit living in us.

We have eternal life at work in us. We have the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus operating in every fibre of our being. This is the consciousness with which you're to live. Refuse to evaluate yourself on the basis of natural circumstances, age or human limitations. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). He rejuvenates and vitalises your body.

Don't adopt or accept the world's opinion and expectation that as you grow in years, there’s sure to be a decline in your strength, health and vigour. No! In Christ, we have agelessness. You’re forever in health, in shape and in vitality because you have the life and nature of God.

Eternal life is at work in every fibre of your being. The law of the Spirit of life is working in your bones, your tendons, your ligaments, and every cell and organ of your body. Affirm these truths about your life and walk in the consciousness of the divine life in you. Your strength is continually renewed by the Holy Spirit in you, enabling you to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. That's your present-hour reality in Christ.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the life of Christ that is at work in me. I live by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, and I walk in the consciousness of your divine life in every fibre of my being. My strength is renewed continually, and I function in health, vitality, strength and excellence by the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.*

*‭‭2 Corinthians 3:7-11 NIV Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, [8] will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? [9] If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! [10] For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. [11] And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!*

*BORNE ON EAGLES' WINGS*

_*As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings (Deuteronomy 32:11).*_

This is a most beautiful description of God's dealings with His people. The Lord likens Himself to an eagle caring for its young. The eagle doesn't merely watch from a distance; it actively trains, guides, protects, and carries its young until they become strong enough to soar.

The eagle stirs up its nest, fluttering over its young and spreading its wings beneath them. This illustrates how God works in our lives. He doesn't leave us to struggle alone or figure things out by ourselves. He guides us through His Word, strengthens us by His Spirit, and leads us in the path of His perfect will. Even when circumstances seem challenging, He's at work, preparing you for greater heights and greater victories.

When the children of Israel came out of Egypt, the Lord reminded them, "Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings..." (Exodus 19:4). He wanted them to recognise that their preservation, progress and success were not the result of human wisdom or strength. He carried them. He sustained them. He was their way in the wilderness.

The same is true in your life today. You're not to depend solely on your own ability, intelligence or resources. The Lord is your strength. He’s your wisdom. He’s your sufficiency. He upholds you, directs your steps, and causes you to triumph. He knows every challenge you'll ever face, and He's already made you a victor.

Therefore, refuse to be overwhelmed by the pressures or uncertainties of life. He’s your ever-present help in times of need; He bears you up. He’s able to keep you, strengthen you, and bring you into the fulfilment of His purpose for your life. Maintain this consciousness every day.

The Lord is actively involved in your success. He's guiding you by His Spirit to rise above limitations, obstacles, and adversities. Like the eagle that soars high above the storm, you're called to live above the circumstances of this world, sustained by the power and grace of God. Hallelujah!

Prayer / Confession
Dear Father, thank you for your unfailing love, guidance and strength in my life. I trust completely in your ability to lead, sustain and uphold me. I walk in confidence, knowing that you direct my steps and cause me to rise above every limitation and challenge. Your wisdom and power are at work in me today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

OF REALITIES

DAILY DEVOTIONAL

HE BROUGHT US UNTO HIMSELF

Friday, October 2nd

Pastor Chris

Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself (Exodus 19:4).

When God delivered the children of Israel from Egypt, His purpose was greater than rescuing them from oppression. Deliverance was only the beginning. His ultimate desire was revealed in His words as read in our opening scripture: He bore them on eagles' wings, and brought them unto Himself. He didn't merely bring them out of Egypt.

This reveals the heart of God. His goal has always been fellowship, relationship with man. He wanted a people who would belong to Him, walk with Him and live in the consciousness of His love and purpose. That's why He went on to say in the ensuing verses: "…then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation...” (Exodus 19:5-6). They were chosen, separated, and set apart for Him.

What God foreshadowed in Israel has found its greater fulfilment in Christ and the Church! Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you've been brought into an inseparable union with God. You're not separated from Him, trying to find your way into His presence. You've been joined unto the Lord and made one spirit with Him: “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

The Apostle Peter echoed the same words God spoke to Moses when he declared that you're "...a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people..." (1 Peter 2:9). To Israel, it was preconditioned on their obedience to the Law, but for us, it’s a promise fulfilled, our inheritance in Christ.

We’re His peculiar treasure, inseparably one with Him. You're not an ordinary person struggling through life alone. You’re in Him, and He’s in you. He brought you out of darkness into His marvellous light, into a life of glory, excellence and divine purpose. You're borne by His power, guided by His wisdom and established in His blessings. Walk in the confidence, dignity and purpose of one who belongs to Christ, the King, and has been set apart for His glory. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into an inseparable union with you. I rejoice in the knowledge that I am your peculiar treasure, holy and sanctified. I walk in the consciousness of my oneness with you, and I fulfil your purpose for my life with boldness and joy, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

1 Peter 2:9-10 KJV But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: [10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

OF REALITIES

DEVOTIONAL

BY FAITH

Wednesday, September 30th

Chris

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1).

One of the great blessings of the New Testament is our justification by faith. Under the Old Testament, they sought justification through the Law, but they didn’t get it. The Law could reveal sin, but it couldn’t justify man. But in the New Testament, we have been justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. What does it mean to be justified?

It means acquittal, to be declared not guilty. In Christ Jesus, God declares you not guilty. You might ask, “But what happened to the offences or the sins I committed?” The answer is in the Scriptures. Romans 4:24-25 says the Lord Jesus was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. He who knew no sin was made sin for us: “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus took our place. He bore the judgment that was against us. Every charge that stood against humanity was laid on Him. But blessed be God, that wasn’t the end of the story. The Bible says He was raised again for our justification. His resurrection was the declaration that the demands of justice had been fully satisfied.

God raised Him from the dead because the price had been paid in full. Our justification had been secured. This is why the Christian doesn’t struggle to attain righteousness through personal efforts or works of the Law. Righteousness has been granted to us in Christ Jesus. Now, we have peace with God. We’re at one with Him.

No wonder the Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus...” (Romans 8:1 NKJV). There’s no more separation, no more condemnation, no more uncertainty about your standing before the Father. You’ve been accepted in Christ. This is the life of rest and confidence that the Gospel brings. You’ve been acquitted by God Himself. As far as He’s concerned, you never sinned.

Romans 3:21-26 (NIV) declares, “...the righteousness of God has been made known…This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe…and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus…He did this to demonstrate his righteousness…so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.” Walk in the boldness, liberty, and joy of this reality. Refuse to live under guilt, accusation, or a sense of unworthiness. The Lord Jesus was delivered because of your offences and raised again for your justification. Glory to His Name forever!

Dear Father, thank you for the glorious reality of my justification by faith in Christ. I walk in the boldness, liberty and joy of the reality that I’ve been declared righteous and accepted in Christ Jesus. Thank you for the blessedness of my righteousness and right-standing with you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

STUDY
Romans 4:24-25 KJV But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; [25] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Galatians 2:16 KJV Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Romans 8:1 KJV There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

*KNOW THE GOSPEL MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE*

*Monday, September 28th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…(Romans 1:16).*_

As a Christian, if there’s anything you must know in this world, it’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There’s no knowledge more important, more transformative, or more eternal than the Gospel. It’s the message of life, the revelation of God’s righteousness, and the unveiling of His salvation for all mankind.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is much more than information to be memorised or doctrines to be explained. The Gospel is life. It’s the Word of God concerning Jesus Christ—who He is, and His mission— what He came to do. If your life is inconsistent with the provisions of Christ in His Gospel, then you haven’t really understood the Gospel.

True understanding of the Gospel will cause you to live in and experience the full blessings thereof. The more you understand the Gospel, the more you become its manifestation. Your life will express Christ naturally and effortlessly. Your words, your thoughts, your responses, and your conduct will be aligned with the message of Christ because the Gospel has been inculcated into your spirit and into your consciousness.

It’s like what the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:2, _*“Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men.”*_ Your life becomes a living letter; men will read Christ through you. They’ll see the reality of the Gospel in your character, in your love, in your faith, and in the excellence of your walk with God.

This is the result of giving yourself wholly to the Gospel; every fibre of your being becomes synchronized with its message and you speak out of that abundance. So, know the Gospel more than anything else in life, for it’s the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for granting me understanding of the Gospel to experience its transformative power in my life. My whole being is inundated with the truths of the Gospel, and my life is the living expression of Christ. My words, thoughts and actions are in sync with your divine will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*‭‭Philippians 1:27 KJV Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;*

*THE WORD—YOUR TRUE LIFE AND ENVIRONMENT*

*Sunday, September 27th*

*Pastor Chris*

_*Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ...(2 Corinthians 3:3).*_

1 Peter 1:23 tells us something remarkable; it says, _*“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.”*_ A similar truth is emphasized in James 1:18, _*“Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”*_ God’s Word gave birth to you; and what does that make you?

It means you’re the Word in flesh! The Word of God is your life-source, and every living thing must be connected to its source to live. This is why your fellowship with the Word is so important. Your true life and environment are in the Word. If you live outside the Word, you’re functioning outside your divine environment.

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, connects and unveils this beautifully in 2 Corinthians 3:2-3. First, he says, _*“Ye are our epistle...”*_ and then he goes further to say, _*“...ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ...”*_ You’re the living epistle, the living message, the living expression of Christ to your world. The Lord Jesus is called the living Word; therefore, being born of His Word, you carry His life, nature, wisdom and character within you.

You’re indestructible because you’re born of His indestructible seed (His Word), which lives and abides forever. Therefore, your sufficiency, your ability, competence, strength and capacity come from your divine origin. Many struggle in life because they don’t live according to this truth. They attempt to live outside the environment of the Word.

But the Christian who meditates on the Word continually stays connected to the source of his divine nature. The more the Word dominates your spirit, the more your true nature is unveiled. God’s Word created the universe. His Word is everything. As you meditate on it, it transforms your life. Think, speak, and live the Word. Glory to God!

*CONFESSION*

*I’m born of God’s incorruptible Word; I’m the living epistle of Christ. My life is the manifestation of divine wisdom, glory and power. As I meditate on the Word, even now, I’m strengthened, transformed and established in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY=>* *||* *‭‭Joshua 1:8 KJV This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.* *||*

*||* *‭‭Colossians 3:16 KJV Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.* *||*

*||* *‭‭Hebrews 4:12 KJV For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.* *||*

*THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS*

Saturday, September 26th
Pastor Chris

*_For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21)_*.

In Romans 5:1, we read something absolutely profound that also parallels what we read in our theme scripture. It says, *“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”* Being justified by faith means we’ve been declared righteous by faith. Therefore, you must affirm and live in the consciousness of that righteousness.

Every so often, declare, “In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I am righteous with the righteousness of Christ.” If you don’t do that, you may struggle endlessly, trying to attain by works what God already gave you as a gift. Many live this way without realizing it. On days when they think they’ve behaved well or done nothing wrong, they feel more confident that God will hear their prayers.

But that’s a dangerous mindset because it means basing your confidence or approval with God on personal performance rather than on the finished redemptive work of Christ. God never asked you to establish your own righteousness. The Bible says Jesus was made sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Some even think humility means constantly denouncing themselves before God, making statements such as, “Lord, I’m nothing; we’re all so unworthy and unrighteous before you.” But that’s not what God wants. He doesn’t delight in your self-denunciation, self-condemnation or self-recrimination. One was already condemned and crucified for you, and His Name is Jesus; He took your place.

*Acts 13:38-39 (NKJV) tells us, “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.”* What God wants is for you to believe in and live according to what Christ accomplished in your behalf. The Apostle Paul says, *“...if one died for all, then were all dead” (2 Corinthians 5:14)*. He died that you might live.

Now, you live for Him, in glory and in righteousness, effortlessly pleasing Him. This is the Christian life: it’s not about struggling to impress God through human effort; it’s about responding to His love by walking in His Word. The more you affirm who you are in Christ, the more that reality dominates your life. Therefore, think and speak righteousness. Live in the consciousness of your justification and right-standing with God.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for making me the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I live in the consciousness of my right-standing with you and walk in the light of your Word today. My life is a manifestation of your grace, love, and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen*.

*Philippians 3:7-9 KJV But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. [8] Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, [9] And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith*

*Romans 3:21-22 KJV But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; [22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:*

*Romans 10:1-4 KJV Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. [2] For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. [3] For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. [4] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth*.
