📢 EBBD studies started Helsinki Business College Oy! 🇪🇺✨
About 50 students started their studies with the European Business Behaviour and Democracy Certificate. Right at the beginning of our studies, we familiarised ourselves with the EU's activities by visiting the European Commission Helsinki Info Center, where we received a comprehensive information package on the European Union and its significance. 🌍📖
The studies continue with inspiring topics and culminate in Europe Day on 9.5., the events of which are planned and implemented by the students of the Business College. 💙💛

Inspiring and fruitful EBBD Conference in Eger

Studying, Working & Living in Europe, vocational excellence in Business & Europe

Representators of EBBD colleges throughout Europe, participated in the EBBD annual Conference and AGM on 23 & 24 March in Eger, Hungary, hosted by Andrassy Catholic Business Academy.

A two days programme, with workshops, interesting speakers, the AGM, cultural activities, sharing good practices and networking.

This year four EBBD alumni : Dyon de Haas, Hannah Berg, Eva Ploshchadnaia and Patrik Póka joined. They shared their experience in EBBD, worked on a challenge and gave us very relevant input.

Yesterday dr. Éva Farkas, Sándor File, Krisztián Herczeg, Erzsébet Szlamka, Sylwia Kalota, inspired participants to discuss student focused learning, boosting cooperation with stakeholders, and artificial intelligence supported individual learning.

At the end of this Conference, Helsinki Business College Oy, anounced that they will host the EBBD Conference in 2024, 18 and 19 April. Something to look forward to.

The path is paved for Business Game
Skive, Denmark 1st – 2nd February 2023

For excellence in education the EBBD educators from Denmark, Finland, two Dutch colleges, the French and Spanish as well all met up in Skive to advance our collaborative practices. This was the 4th trans-national meeting of the Erasmus+ project European Digital Playground.
Chaired by Kaisu Luukka from Finland we met to improve, define and maximize the effectiveness of our international business game activity between all participating countries set for October 2023. We worked on dissemination of the best practices from each school and building a framework for business game implementation for the entire EBBD college network as well as other interested colleges.
Skive showed best practice in their study area project. This interdisciplinary evaluation was of a local business covering marketing, profitability, cultural understanding, innovation and organizational theory.
In workshops we finalized the plans for test business game which takes place already in the end of February. We laid the groundwork for the Learning, Teaching and Training activity scheduled October 2023 and further developed the end product, framework for implementing business game into entrepreneurial studies. Day two continued our workshops over international cooperation, an international business game and collection and dissemination of best practices.
Skive also showed brain training activities as an exceptional example of Danish education. A motivating and inspiring activity that all will take back to their land.
The progress will be continued online before meeting again in May, this time in France to solidify results from the test game and finalize what we want to do for our project conclusion.
