„Improvisation in Dance” 🪩

This regular class invites you to fully explore your sensitivity and creativity to manifest through the movement and dance in improvisation practice. We start with warming up the sensing body, physical grounding and mobility and go step by step into the more and more subtle aspects of embodiment and physical dialogues- from the most inner spaces, into spatial and bodily relationships. Playing parallel with dynamics, diverse roles in physical (touch and no touch based) communication with partners. Sometimes we focus more on a role and potential of a solo, sometimes more on a work of ensemble. Throughout the whole session we gradually increase layers of attention, imagination and awareness on relationships happening and changing constantly the space, the situation. For that to let it finally all go and simply play with whatever it is, whatever resonates, whatever arise in the moment. The freedom of body and mind goes towards the clarity of choice being made in relation to time, body and space. To simply play and enjoy the COMPOSITION that is UNFOLDING.

💫Welcoming a human into the structure of our home—the body—we begin with the simplest and smallest elements: ‚breath after breath, step after step, movement after movement, fall after fall.’ From here, we journey toward increasingly complex connections.
Exploring pathways where the linearity of movement unfolds into multidirectional play, we will aim to create space for ‚real fun and surprise’, while remaining grounded in the patterns and tools of contact improvisation.💫
