The Wandering Sunflowers of Haus Guldenbach . In the last few years all my sunflower saplings have sadly been eaten by slugs. Then I suddenly realised that the seeds of the year before were sprouting on the yard. It seems the slugs did not get them there. So we protected the area with stones and now have a field of proud upright sunflowers showing off their beauty.

Activities in Haus Guldenbach: Intuitive Archery . We offer Intuitive Archery for guests with English long bows made from the Haus Guldenbach yews. It is easy to pick up. This kind of archery focuses on instinct , flow and connection. It is all about trusting your body and senses.

Harvest 2025 has been excellent. Even though spring was so dry. The apple tree is laden with fruit , so is the tree with mirabell plums. They are super sweet. And in the bed down by the stream there is a whole area blue with borrage, humming with bees.

Lindenblütenfest in Haus Guldenbach: When we renovated Haus Guldenbach we were presented with a linden tree by a host of our friends. They helped us plant it infront of the house. We then promised to have a yearly party when the tree blooms ,at the end of June. Here an image of our party this year : a proseecco with homemade elderberry juice in the forest by the stream.
