We asked our Co-Founder Dr. Nadine Blum how she combines her chiropractic exam with imaging findings of her patients in her daily work as orthopedic vet at , Germany to solve the issue. “I think chiropractic examinations always help me in any of the cases, because in my opinion we should not rely too much on imaging findings, rather on a functional exam and chiropractic is a functional exam to me.”

Guest Teaching: Keeping the Equine Athlete Healthy in Austria 🐴 🇦🇹

Two weeks ago, ABnR Academy Co-Founder Dr. Nadine Blum had the pleasure of teaching a two-day workshop in Kaindorf bei Hartberg, Austria, hosted by farrier Herbert Rath.

The workshop focused on „Keeping the Equine Athlete Healthy – How Can We Train and Ride Horses While Maintaining Their Health?“ and brought together 40 veterinarians, farriers, therapists, and trainers with one common goal: improving horse welfare through a deeper understanding of function, biomechanics, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Friday and Saturday combined morning theory sessions with afternoon practical training, allowing participants to directly apply the concepts discussed in the lectures.
A big thank you to Herbert Rath for the invitation and excellent organization, and to all participants for the engaging discussions and enthusiasm throughout the weekend!

Anatomie am Samstag – Anatomische Grundlagen der Manualtherapie 🐴

Tauche mit Prof. Dr. Carsten Staszyk und Dr. Nadine Blum tief in die anatomischen Grundlagen manueller Therapie ein: exklusiv an der Universität Gießen.

Der Präparierkurs richtet sich an Tierärzte und Therapeuten, die anatomische Grundlagen nicht nur vom Buch ablesen wollen, sondern mit eigenen Händen verstehen wollen, was unter dem Fell ihrer Patienten steckt. In angeleiteten Präparierübungen gehen wir spannenden Fragen auf den Grund, präparieren relevante Strukturen, ordnen anatomische Details in ihren funktionell-biomechanischen Zusammenhang ein und machen manualtherapeutische Behandlungskonzepte im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes begreifbar.

Durch die Arbeit in intensiv betreuten Kleingruppen können Inhalte und Präparieraufgaben individuell an deinen Wissensstand angepasst werden. Dabei steht immer die Verbindung von Anatomie, Biomechanik und klinischer Praxis im Mittelpunkt.

Teaching at EGAS Module III in the Netherlands! 🇳🇱
