This is the season our little wooden ‚skiing hut‘ really comes into its own. Bathed into golden sunlight and in the cosy warmth of our wooden walls.

We started this week with Denisse from and her beautiful world of sweet treats. 🍰🧁🍮
Denisse is originally from Ecuador where she trained as chef and discovered her passion for patisserie and everything sweet.

When moving to Germany she also studied nutrition to make those desserts and cakes a lot healthier and also lactose,- gluten and sugar free. Like this Denisse has found a way to combine the best of both worlds.

You can try her goodies every 3rd Sunday/month at Sprach Cafe Polnisch, Schulzestrasse 1. Conveniently, it’s this coming Sunday- so why not treat your Valentin to some healthy cakes.🧡

Wagashi are traditional Japanese confections made of mochi, anko or fruit that are often eaten with tea. And Amiri‘s little treats are like pieces of art, carefully designed and assembled.

Meet Phim from ‚little Bangkok‘ at Maybachufer market. 🧡🧡🧡🧡
Phim has been making her sauces at ours for a while now, but it has been hard to get a photo of her as she is the hardest working chef in our kitchen.
No matter if rain or shine, Phim is at her stall most days (apart from kitchen day Wednesday) to offer you her super tasty and authentic summer rolls, pad Thai and sticky rice parcels. It’s all so good and made with lots of love. Please support Phim and all the other market stalls, especially in winter when tourists stay away. It’s such a hard job and labor of love, these little food stalls will only be here in summer if we support them all through winter.❄️🔆❄️

This weekend we spent a wonderful authentic Keralan lunch with the the lovely crew from .de. 🔆🔆🔆
You can choose from their weekly changing tasty curries & mains, (always veggie options available), fluffy ghee rice, their special porotta bread and a delicious chilly lime lemonade.
Kokoland is a community of Keralans living in Berlin who are so pationate about sharing their South Indian culture & food. They have been hosting their guests at our kitchen for the past 2 months.

Catch them this Thursday, Friday and Saturday on their last 3 days.💛

The days are getting shorter and coziness is moving into our little wooden hut.

We had an especially lovely cooking course on a few weeks back- the great Dino had prepared a beautiful Mexican menu with several courses and drinks. A little bit of sunshine & punchy flavors on a chilly autumn eve.

A giant congratulations to our longest standing and most favourite Mitbewohner at the kitchen! 💓💗💓Lenja from Feasts Of Eden] has outgrown and left the hive to set up her own, beautiful kitchen space around the corner. So much hard work has finally paid off - it’s so well deserved! We are very sad to see her go but are happy to still have her in our lovely Kiez for chats and gossip.

Many of you might have seen the beautiful full ‚harvest moon‘ this weekend, a sign of autumn taking over from summer. 🌝🌝🌝

We had a lovely dinner taking place in our kitchen to celebrate the change of seasons: and her friends came together for ‚Hangawi’ - a major mid-autumn harvest festival celebrated in South Korea. It might have been the last warm night, perfect to eat outside and they had prepared a tasty sounding menu.
The perfect way to see our summer…until next year.🥀
