Today we celebrated Forest Day! 🌳🍃

We packed our backpacks, grabbed our buckets, and headed off with our forest treasure hunt list, ready for a day of adventure! From exploring nature to discovering all sorts of exciting things, it was such a fun day.

The best part? Sitting together to share our snacks and enjoy them with all our friends. 💚 A day full of laughter, teamwork, and wonderful woodland adventures! 🐞🐝🦋🐜🦗🦟🪰🪲

Last week we celebrated our Summerfest! 🥰🌿🐞♥️

Our children and teachers brought the much-loved story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury, to life with amazing props, creativity, and lots of dancing.

We also celebrated our fantastic graduates as they head off on their next big adventure: Kindergarten! 🎓💛

We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things they’ll achieve. 🥹♥️

It was such a lovely afternoon, filled with laughter, special memories, and a few happy tears from both parents and teachers. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special day! 🌈✨

Little Explorers, Big Discoveries! 🐛🌿

Our nursery children had a wonderful time exploring nature today when they discovered some tiny caterpillars! We carefully placed them in an observation box so everyone could take a closer look before returning them safely to their natural habitat.

These hands-on experiences spark curiosity, encourage scientific thinking, and help children develop respect and appreciation for the natural world. It was lovely to see every child take a turn, ask questions, and learn through exploration. 💚

Bug Hunt Sensory Play! 🌿 🐞

This week, our little explorers loved discovering a bug-themed sensory tray filled with natural treasures like leaves, sticks, pinecones, stones, and lots of tiny bugs! 🪵🍃🐜

Sensory play like this encourages curiosity, imaginative play, language development, and fine motor skills as children investigate, sort, and create their own little nature worlds. Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day! 🌿🧸

Last Friday, we had so much fun celebrating Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day! The children were invited to bring their favourite teddy along, and together we headed to the forest for a special picnic. 🧺🐻

It was such a lovely morning filled with chatting, singing, exploring, and enjoying a picnic together in nature. Days like these help build friendships, encourage imaginative play, and give children the chance to develop their confidence, communication, and connection with the natural world. 🌍🩷

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this year’s Charity Art Auction! Our children created beautiful artworks alongside their teachers, and we auctioned each special piece to raise money for Kids To Life Charity.

Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful families and community, we raised an incredible €1,810.00! ❤️

This week in nursery we have been enjoying Gardening Week! 🪴☀️

The children have been amazing little gardeners, learning all about plants, how they grow, and how to care for them. They have loved getting hands-on with planting seeds, watering flowers 🚿🌷, and exploring nature together 🍃🐞.

Everything is looking wonderful 🌼✨ and we look forward to continuing to watch our little gardeners nurture their plants as they grow and thrive 🩷🌿

Gardening Week is coming up next week and our nursery children have been busy learning all about plants and what they need to grow big and strong ☀️💧🌿

The children explored a sensory tray filled with insects and worms, encouraging curiosity, discussion, and hands-on learning about the natural world 🐞🪱 They then enjoyed painting their “soil” and adding their cut-out worms, developing creativity and fine motor skills through play 🎨

What a fun week full of exploration, imagination, and learning! 💚
