Die FOX Foundation unterstützt den Kinderschutzbund, Kreisverband Koblenz mit einer Spende in Höhe von EUR 2.000,-. Mit dieser Spende wird das Projekt „Kinder zu Tisch“ gefördert. Hier bekommen bedürftige Kinder von ehrenamtlichen Helfern ein frisch gekochtes Mittagessen serviert.

Mit einer Spende in Höhe von EUR 2.000,- unterstützt die Fox-Foundation den Förderverein „Soroptimist“. Der Betrag wurde für die Naturtalente - Förderung für Jugendliche eingesetzt.

FOX Foundation spendet EUR 4.380,- für das Schulprojekt "THE SWALLOW" in Gambia (www.theswallow.org). Die Schulleiterin, Frau Annette Jaiteh-Müller, eingerahmt von Martin Fuchs und Diana Müller-Nied, nahm den Spendenscheck persönlich entgegen.

FOX Foundation is proudly announce our help project for 2017.
Yaowawit School in Khao-Lak, Thailand.
The school was founded by Philipp Graf von Hardenberg , Children's World Academy Foundation which is a non-profit organization registered in Thailand and Germany.

Philipp Graf von Hardenberg was born and grew up in Germany, he has worked across Europe. In addition to his work in hotel management, he also sat on the board of directors at several foundations and schools. The last school he was directly involved in was Berlin International School. In 2004, he was in Thailand for the first time and saw first hand the devastation of the 2004 tsunami. Helped by his family members and friends including Princess Sirindhorn, he founded Yaowawit. Since then, Thailand has become his second home. Now he is President and CEO of Thanyapura in Phuket.

Yaowawit School is initially to help the children who were the victims of the 2004 Tsunami. Over the years, the school has expanded and refocused its mission and goals to help the children who are the victims of poverty. The school shelters 120 children as of August 2014. Some of the children are orphans. Some others were left uncared for, abandoned, abused or exposed to violence, prostitution and even human trafficking. Yaowawit School want to empower these children with practical education so that they have skills and knowledge necessary to get a job or to continue their education to a higher level.
Yaowawit School has a concept to prepare the children to be able to support themselves and to become responsible and productive members of society. Learning about different occupations and work ethic is a part of the Thai curriculum and providing the children with practical experiences such as farming, hospitality, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and entrepreneurship.
Farming – Agriculture currently employs 40% of Thailand’s population. Here the children have class gardens where they learn about planting, plant growth and using organic products and to discuss about healthy eating. There are 192,000-square-metre farm where they have ducks and chickens to produce eggs, catfish and crops such as cucumber, bok choy, eggplant, long bean, lemongrass, morning glory, pineapple, palm, banana, chili, limes, ginger and tomato.
Hospitality – Hospitality services also employ a significant number of people in Thailand. The children from Grade 4 onwards will be training in hospitality with a weekly lessons with a kind cooperation with Marriott Hotel to ensure that they are taught to high hospitality service standards. The children are also involved with preparing guest rooms, preparing food and serving guests as practical experience.
ICT – Technology’s role in society is growing. It is important for the children to have computer skills for both future personal and professional use. The school have 20 desktop computers (donated by Marriott) and 10 laptops (donated by Labdoo) available for the children to use. The children in primary school are taught to type, to research using the internet and basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Also for the high school children and introduce with Photoshop and Windows Movie Maker.
Entrepreneurship – As part of our entrepreneurship training, the children learn to make and sell herbal and souvenir products as well as food. The herbal products include balm, repellent lotion, massage oil and lemongrass tea and the souvenir products include bracelets, postcards, bookmarks and notepads. Those products will be taken to the local markets and let the children explore. If they’re feeling brave enough, they can try selling their products themselves. Sometimes the children have the chance to visit and learn about local businesses too.
