There was quite a bit of planning behind our giant “25” on the Sports Field.

Our Secondary School students took on the challenge of working out the formation, measuring the space and marking the white lines on the field. So, when students and staff arrived to form the “25” last week, everyone knew exactly where to stand.

Thank you to our students for all the thought, care and teamwork that went into making this community moment happen.

On 2 September, our school community came together for a special assembly to celebrate 25 years on the Seeberg Campus.

Led by our Director and Secondary School students, the assembly took us back in time to see how BBIS and our campus have changed over the years. We discovered some interesting facts, revisited moments from our history and reflected on the many memories made here over the past 25 years.

It was a special opportunity to look back, share memories and celebrate the many students, families and colleagues who have been part of BBIS over the years.

Our Early Education 5 children are settling into the new school year and getting more comfortable with each passing day.

They’ve been exploring their classrooms, learning new routines and, of course, spending plenty of time outdoors. Our forest surroundings give them lots of space to climb, balance, explore and simply enjoy being outside together.

It’s been lovely to see new friendships forming along the way, as the children play, discover and get to know one another.

We’re looking forward to watching them grow in confidence and feel more at home in our BBIS community.

What a great way to end the first full week of school.

Our Secondary students wrapped up the week with Grill & Chill, organised by the Student Council, alongside the student-led ECA Fair - a chance to discover what’s on offer this year.

Good food, time with friends and plenty to look forward to in the year ahead.

It was lovely to welcome our families back to campus for our Back to School mornings.

From Early Education through Grade 5, parents spent time in their children’s classrooms, met with teachers and got a glimpse of where learning happens each day.

It was wonderful to see our Primary School filled with families again.

Our green campus is looking beautiful right now. 🌻🌿

The flowers and plants in our school garden are in full bloom, and the sunflowers from last school year’s Secondary sunflower competition have grown tall and are blooming beautifully too.

Last Wednesday, our Grade 1 parents gathered at BBIS for a lovely morning of creativity and community, making Schultüten for their children.

The handmade school cones were kept safely under wraps until Friday, when our Grade 1 students received them as part of their Einschulung celebration - a special German tradition welcoming children to their first year of school.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us, and to our PTA for helping make this wonderful BBIS tradition possible.

On Friday, we welcomed our new Grade 1 students with the German tradition of Einschulung. 💙

Together with their families, they marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter - one filled with learning, new friendships and plenty of discoveries along the way.

We’re so happy to welcome our Grade 1 students and their families to the BBIS community. Here’s to a wonderful start together.
