Zoetrope Workshop

In a workshop we create animations for a zoetrope and other optical devices and present the results. I studied animation at the Kassel College of Art.

I’m a director, producer and author of short animated films. Amongst many international awards for my independent productions, I received the Academy award (Oscar®) for the stop-motion film QUEST in 1997. My films are produced in stop-motion, 2D/3D animation, pixilation, experimental animation and stereoscopic. I moderate his ‘Trickfilm-Show’, hold animation workshops and do audiovisual performances with animation, presented by Zoetropes and other optical devices.
