MINI STARTUP TOUR HEILBRONN

Seit es die PionierGarage gibt, unternehmen wir regelmäßig Startup Touren und haben dabei die Startup-Ökosysteme weltweit erkundet – von den USA über China und Israel bis hin zu Japan und Korea. Wir sprechen auf den Reisen mit Gründer*innen, Investor*innen, aber auch mit Botschaften, Politikern und vielen anderen Menschen. Dabei sammeln wir wertvolle Erfahrungen und Einblicke rund um das Thema Entrepreneurship, verstehen aber auch die Gesellschaften, Kulturen und politischen Landschaften der besuchten Länder besser. Um das Konzept der großen Startup Touren lokal zu erweitern, veranstalten wir dieses Semester eine Mini-Startup-Tour nach Heilbronn!

Warum Heilbronn?
Heilbronn hat sich als einer der spannendsten Startup-Hotspots in Deutschland etabliert. Dank der massiven Unterstützung durch die Dieter Schwarz Stiftung, exzellenter Forschungsinstitutionen wie der Hochschule Heilbronn und Inkubatoren wie den Campus Founders bietet die Stadt ideale Bedingungen für Gründer*innen. Der Fokus auf Technologie und Digitalisierung, kombiniert mit einer starken wirtschaftlichen Basis, macht Heilbronn zu einem attraktiven Standort für innovative Startups. We've landed safely and are currently exploring Seoul! The city has a wonderful vibe and has already cast a spell over us all, but first, let's provide an overview of what we will do on our trip:

- First visit AHK Korea (Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry) to gain basic knowledge about South Korea
- Visit the Deutsche Botschaft and gain insights into their initiatives
- Explore the Incheon Global Campus to understand the latest advancements
- Tour Seoul Robotics to witness their innovative projects

🇰🇷 Daejeon:

- Explore the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and learn about their research endeavours

🇰🇷 Suseong-gu:

- Strengthen ties with our partner city of Karlsruhe, Suseong-gu

🚢 Busan to Fukuoka:

- Travel from Busan (South Korea) to Fukuoka (Japan) via ferry, enjoying another approach to Japan

🇯🇵 Osaka/Kyoto:

- Dive into the world of vertical farming
- Explore the university landscape of Kyoto Institute of Technology

🇯🇵 Tokyo:

- Attend the Takeoff Startup conference to engage with emerging businesses
- Visit the Mirai Innovation Research Institute to explore their projects

- Meet with representatives of the DAAD Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst to discuss academic exchange opportunities
