This week, we started exploring BOATS! ⛵️

We began the unit study by reading about a few common types of sailing vessels and their main components. Then, we sketched our own.

Next, we briefly discussed buoyancy. As an introductory activity, we practiced writing by making a list of small objects we could find nearby in nature. We then made a prediction as to the objects' buoyancy and recorded and tested our hypotheses.

We're excited to learn more this coming week!
