The next "Women in Photonics" workshop will be held in Jena from June 1-5, 2025. This year Prof. Zsuzsanna Heiner (Head of SALSA Photonics Lab, School of Analytical Sciences Adlershof, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) and Dr. Karin Wieland (Area Manager and Senior Researcher at the Competence Center Chase GmbH Vienna) will accompany the workshop and enrich it with their personell experience. Furthermore, Prof. Jürgen Popp as initiator of the workshop and institute director of Leibniz IPHT will chair the workshop.

As in the past, research institutions and companies will actively participate and present possible career paths in industry and research.
