Introducing Fritz, founder of ICCC in Germany. His teachings on calling and purpose have helped our students define their business plans with greater clarity. His business experience inspires us not to give up, even if we face failure in the future, because God always provides a solution for something better. We learned that God desires our hearts more than the businesses we can create.

We just had an incredible experience visiting Alex, the visionary founder of SIP. It was a time of invaluable practical learning, where our students had the opportunity to ask specific questions that only a business owner can answer with authority and experience.

SIP, a leading German company in the manufacturing of parts for Vespa motorcycles, stands out not only for its quality and global reach but also for its impressive track record in the market. With more than 100 dedicated employees and many years of experience, SIP distributes its products worldwide, making a significant impact on the industry.

What truly inspired us was Alex's personal story. He is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a Christian man who has put God first and at the center of his business. His faith and values permeate every aspect of his company, demonstrating that success and integrity can go hand in hand.

We are pleased to introduce the professor for the fourth week, Joseph Avakian. Originally from Armenia, Joseph grew up in various countries and now speaks seven languages. He is also the designer of YWAM's current logo. Joseph's dedication to design and creativity has led him to collaborate with major, globally recognized brands. This week, our students will have the opportunity to learn from Joseph about marketing and design, discovering how to enhance the visual communication strategies of their future enterprises. We are genuinely enthusiastic to have him join us as a professor for this 2024 school session.

Outside of the SOTB program, our students made the most of their weekend by organizing their own trip. They rented the van from the Hurlach base and embarked on an exciting adventure to Zurich, where they explored the city's most iconic landmarks. The adventure didn't stop there; they continued to the majestic Swiss Alps, enjoying breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences.

This trip was a rejuvenating and much-needed break before resuming their classes. In a few weeks, our students will present their business plans, and we are eagerly anticipating their innovative and creative presentations.

The spirit of exploration and learning in our students is truly inspiring!

Today, our students embarked on an exciting excursion to the Munich Museum, where they explored groundbreaking innovations and delved deeper into the rich history of Germany. The adventure didn't stop there; they also visited some of the most historic sites in the heart of the city. It was a day filled with learning, discovery, and unforgettable experiences.

we visited the founders of Meikes Schmeckerei, a charming café-restaurant located in Augsburg. The founders shared their inspiring journey of how they established the restaurant and the steps they took to persevere despite the challenges. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to ask specific questions about starting a business.

We present our professor for the second week: Liz Cochrane is from the USA and has pioneered YWAM in India. She also founded SOTB, taking it to many countries to continue impacting nations with sustainable businesses that help expand the Kingdom.

We present our first teacher of this week who will be teaching about God's World Vision: discovering God's intentions for humanity and how businesses and our vocational life can contribute in many ways to see this the world transformed and restored wherever we invest ourselves.

Tim is German but grew up in Tanzania. did ministry training in Kenya at Nairobi Chapel and studied Applied Theology in Germany at IGW while interning with various ministries, and has been with YWAM since 2013, currently leading YWAM Hurlach. Tim also serves on the core team of the new Revive Europe movement and is part of various international networks.
