Stories have the power to connect us – across borders, generations, and even across challenges.

Our Sustainability Stories exhibition in collaboration with at ZCOM () in Hoyerswerda brings a world of inspiration right to your doorstep in Lusatia, a region undergoing structural transformation.

From busy cities to isolated villages, each image tells a unique tale of communities tackling global issues with local ingenuity. Just as climate change knows no borders, neither does human creativity and resilience. We can’t afford to turn a blind eye to what’s happening beyond this shrinking city.

At , we tell the story and believe in the power of the . We believe in the interconnectedness of resources and the development of integrated solutions.

Witnessing our principles reflected in the individual stories from all over the globe in the exhibition strengthens our dedication and motivation.

I’m still in shock about the violence that has taken place in Bangladesh and all our hearts are heavy with empathy for all those affected by the unrest.

Since 2019, the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology () has proven itself to be a valuable partner for and in advancing sustainable practices in the textile industry in Bangladesh.

As a follow-up to the successful symposium for the sustainability and textile innovation project that took place in Dresden last year (as pictured in slides 2, 3, 4), we had planned to be in Bangladesh this past week with, among others, our colleague , for another event to bring stakeholders together and work towards a brighter future. While this could not happen for now, let’s continue to stand together, in solidarity and hope.
