🇬🇧 At the end of the placement test, you also get a list with the solutions to your mistakes, so you know exactly which exercises you didn't answer correctly. 😊

🇬🇧Hearing vs. listening

Hearing – the ability to perceive sounds. It happens rather passively; you let the sounds "come to you."

I hear music. 🎵
I hear the birds chirping. 🐦

Listening – consciously and actively taking in information
I listen to the teacher and take notes. 👩🏼‍🏫
The child listens to Grandma telling stories. 👵🏼

Dann probier diese 3️⃣ Tipps:

1️⃣ Verlass bewusst deine Komfortzone

🇬🇧Then try these 3 tips:

1️⃣ Step out of your comfort zone on purpose
Try reading more complex texts every now and then, like books or articles. Read mindfully and work with the text actively: write down new words and analyze the sentence structures. You'll learn much more than by just reading through it.

2️⃣ Speak as often as you can
Words and grammar only stick when you actually use them. Speak regularly, out loud to yourself or with others, as long as it doesn't put too much pressure on you. Don't worry about mistakes. They're part of the process, and with every conversation you'll become more confident and fluent.

3️⃣ Learn with a system
Don't try out 1000 different things only to drop them again. Pick one path and stick with it, for example with my German courses. All you have to do is follow the curriculum. There are also workbooks,

🇬🇧 Translation: I was in China for the first time, without speaking a single word of Chinese...

I immediately felt how stressful it is when you don't master the language of the country you are currently in or even live in.

It became clear to me: Speaking a language is not a luxury. It is the key to making your own life easier – in everyday life, at work, and in real contact with people.

If you don't master it properly, you can't join the conversation, you can't laugh along, you can't join discussions. You withdraw and only say what is strictly necessary. You are somehow no longer yourself...

Because language is not just for communicating. Your way of expressing yourself also shows your counterpart a piece of your identity and reflects your character.

Ever since you have been living in Germany, however, you haven't really been able to show your "true self". The language simply prevents you from doing so.

Trust me: Beneath the layers of fear, insecurity, and doubt, your true essence is still there – you just can't show it right now because of the language barrier.

But you deserve to show your confident, funny self in Germany too and finally be yourself again. And you can achieve this when you build self-confidence in speaking.

And you get this, in turn, by improving your German. I will help you with that! Let's bring your German to the level where you can finally be yourself. 🇩🇪✨

Are you ready for the next step?

Then simply comment: JA, and I will send you the link to my courses via message!
