All good things come to an end, and my time running Talking Toddlers - english courses for kids has been amazing. In September I handed over the reins to concentrate on my new business as a Professional Oraganizer and KonMari Consultant. We are excited to be starting our classes again today after the Easter break. Welcome back to everyone! There are some spaces available, especially in the Baby Sing class, so contact us if you are interested!

We have not been able to hold My Baby Sing Time for a while now, but we are hoping to get enough babies together to start classes again in March. It's time these Pandemic Babies got out and about, and had some fun! (also really important for their parents!) Spread the word.

Give Yourself A Gift This Christmas
‘Is your house perfect?‘
This is something I am often asked by clients and I never quite know how to respond. What is perfect? I have come to the conclusion that this is different for everyone.
The reality is I have 3 kids, 2 cats and a large dog. We lead busy lives. I work running two businesses, my husband works full time. Does our home look like something out of a perfectly styled Instagram post? No! Does our house look lived in? Yes! Is our house as it is ok for us? Yes! Then for us it’s perfect.

If you try to achieve what you perceive as perfection all the time, you are likely to make yourself miserable. We have applied the KonMari® Method to all areas of our home. It works for us. We have systems in place that are quick and easy for us all to use. Do areas of the house sometimes get untidy? Er….. yes! Did I mention I had 3 kids? But the difference now is it is quickly tidied up, and it is never so bad that I need to keep people talking at the front door because it would be too embarassing to invite them in.
As Christmas approaches, and we are all feeling the pressure to make it ‚perfect‘, (whatever that is), cut yourself some slack. Promise yourself that by this time next year you will have the systems in place that things are quickly and easily tidied up, and for this year just enjoy being together with family and friends. That’s perfect enough for now!

We are excited to announce that our classes will be back in September!
They are classes in english, involving lots of music and movement, giving children the chance to hear english and learn to use it with confidence in a fun and safe setting. Most of our families are either english speaking, or bilingual, but we do have families who join us so that their children have an early exposure to another language.
If you are new to Heidelberg or a new parent looking for like minded people to meet up with then these classes are a real lifeline for you, as well as giving your child the opportunity to socialise, have fun and hear english.
Sadly due to Covid, classes haven't been happening, but I am excited to announce that courses are starting again in September, taught by the wonderful Grace Schwartz.
The classes are already pretty full as we had a big waiting list, and most of our families are returning unless the children are now too old. The classes where places are available are as follows:
Monday morning: Talking Toddlers ages 14 months to 2.5 years
Tuesday morning: My Baby Sing Time ages 4/5 months to 12 months
Tuesday morning: Talking Toddlers ages 13 months to 24 months
Saturday morning: Elephant English ages 3.5 to 4
The ages for these courses are based on the ages of the children already registered.
