Meet Marty 🇺🇸➡️🇩🇪, one of our German AI Academy students who made it all the way from Michigan to Hannover—and his timing couldn't have been better! Marty was fortunate enough to be here during the Kirchentag 2025, so we explored the city, enjoyed some local food 🍽️, grabbed a couple of cold ones 🍻, and practiced plenty of German along the way (including using some new ChatGPT techniques I recently devised 🤓🗣️🤖🇩🇪🚀).

Marty has been learning German with us from across the Atlantic, and now he’s here in person, putting his skills to the test and soaking up the local German vibe.

Learning a language is so much more than vocab and grammar – it’s about connecting with people, experiencing culture, and having adventures you'd miss out on if you didn't know the local language(s)
