Since 1998, students from Germany, Europe and all around the world come to Hamburg to participate in a unique MUN conference that sets standards. In the past 10 years, the HamMUN became the biggest conference of its kind in Germany, attracting about 600 MUN newbies and veterans a year. Our Story
Since 1998, the Hanseatic Model United Nations e.V. organizes its Model United Nations conference, the HamMUN (Hamburg Model United Nations), which takes place in the beautiful Hanseatic city of Hamburg every year in December.
HamMUN is one of the largest and most well-known MUN conferences in Europe and attracts MUN veterans, experts and newcomers alike.
In 2019, HamMUN attracted more than 650 participants from all over the world. We are proud that many of those who once came to HamMUN have returned in the following years. HamMUN has been one of the highlights of the MUN year for years.
