Looking for a graduate program in audio? Sound/Vision is a project based Master's program at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Students may focus on sound design or music production, but also on spatial audio / HOA / binaural / Audio for AR/VR. The Sound Lab / Immersive Audio Lab at the Arts and Media Campus Hamburg serves a playground for students, besides labs for lighting, video, media production, or VR.
During the past years no less than 10 students gained awards for excellent works, including AES Recording Competition awards in 4 different categories from Classical Studio Recording to Sound for Visual Media, as well as awards for Fulldome productions with 360 video and 3D audio, awards for spatial audio productions, and awards for games sound design.

Besides the creative work, students may participate in ongoing research projects, namely "Kinetics in Sound and Space", a collaborative project in artistic research on the interdependences of virtual space, perception, and movement, as well as the "Music Production in VR" project.

Application deadline for the next summer semester is 31 October 2020.

Looking back on the past klingt gut conferences, looking forward to the 5th installment of klingt gut // KLG 2020: May 14-16 - meet the world of sonic arts in Hamburg!
We received a stunning 183 submissions from 32 countries - from Australia via Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico and USA to Canada, from Japan via Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and China to Estonia, Poland, Finland, Ireland and UK - Performances, Installations, Fixed Media Works, VR and AR, Papers, Performative Lectures, Posters, Workshops, Technical Demonstrations - amazing artworks, profound research papers, cutting edge technology. Currently the distingushed members of the Program Committee are working hard, assessing the submissions in a double blind review process. As time and space will be limited, some hard decisions will have to be made.
