Campusfest 2026 – das Sprachenzentrum ist dabei! 🥳
Am 18. Juni lädt die Universität gemeinsam mit dem Studierendenwerk zum großen Campusfest ein. Das Sprachenzentrum ist natürlich auch mit einem Stand vertreten. Kommt ab 16 Uhr am Campus Von-Melle-Park vorbei und freut euch auf ein Glücksrad, ein spannendes Sprachquiz, kleine Überraschungen und jede Menge Spaß. Wir freuen uns auf euren Besuch!

Campus Festival 2026 – the Language Center will be there! 🥳
On June 18, the University, together with the Student Services Organization, invites you to the big Campus Festival. The Language Center will, of course, be there with a booth. Stop by the Von-Melle-Park campus starting at 4 p.m. and look forward to a wheel of fortune, an exciting language quiz, little surprises, and lots of fun. We look forward to seeing you there!

Unser heutiger Zungenbrecher spielt mit einer ganzen Kette von Nasallauten und Plosiven. In lang, schwang, Klang, Hang und entlang wiederholen sich vor allem die Laute [ŋ] und [aŋ], die im Deutschen tief im Rachen gebildet werden. Diese Rückverlagerung der Zunge macht die schnelle Abfolge besonders schwierig – die Wörter beginnen leicht ineinander zu fließen. Schafft ihr es, den Rhythmus sauber zu halten? 🎶

Today’s tongue twister works with a chain of nasal and plosive sounds. In lang, schwang, Klang, Hang, and entlang, the sounds [ŋ] and [aŋ] are repeated, both of which are produced deep in the back of the mouth. This retracted tongue position makes the rapid sequence especially tricky – the words tend to blend into each other easily. Can you keep the rhythm clear? 🎶

As First Lady of the United States from 1933 to 1945, she redefined the role by actively engaging in human rights and social issues. Roosevelt played a critical role in drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, leaving a lasting legacy as a champion of justice and equality.
