Responsibilities:

Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.

Specific Duties:

Research on medieval Hebrew scientific and philosophical terminology:
Textual studies
input and maintenance of research data in the PESHAT database
coordination of collaborations with external scholars and other project’s on external data input and cooperations in digital humanities
organization of and participation in the project’s workshops and conferences
publication of research results

Requirements:

A university degree in a relevant field plus doctorate. Knowledge of languages relevant to the project (Background in medieval philosophy is required. Knowledge of Medieval Hebrew is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic, Latin or Greek is desired).
