Come and join us for free in an educational and engaging board game about the connections between biodiversity, politics, and economics!
The game was developed by researchers from several universities. While playing, you’ll not only have fun but also understand the logic behind political and economic decision-making.
Even just observing the game is fascinating, and participating is even more exciting. So don’t miss it!

The game (in English) lasts 1-1.5 hours, followed by a 30-minute discussion.
The game is the result of collaboration between several universities and NGOs as part of the Planet4B Horizon project: https://planet4b.eu/
The game is called "Food-Governance-Biodiversity" and focuses on the intersectional nature of biodiversity. It highlights three key elements: the demand-supply correlation, city governance, and the impact of decision-making on biodiversity. The main idea is to introduce this tool to educational centers after the testing phase (which we are now concluding).
The game session will be recorded for academic purposes.

WORKSHOP: Developing Reflective Intercultural Competence, November 3-4, 2017.
Develop your intercultural competence. In order to successfully work and collaborate with people from across the world, study in culturally different educational institutions and live in different countries, students require a set of abilities for dealing with cultural diversity. These abilities, collectively termed intercultural competence, enable effective studying, living and working across different cultural boundaries.
When: Friday, November 3rd 2017 (2pm-6pm) and Saturday, November 4th 2017 (10am-5pm)

* Course level C1 and B2 will be free of charge
Please note: the course level will be determined by the lecturers on the placement test day (04.09.2017) through written and oral examination.
Even though you have to bring your most recent language certificate or the results of the Cornelsen self-test with you, these do not determine which level you will be placed in.
Only the results of the placement test matter for your course placement.
All other levels (A1 - B1):

* external students: 265,00 €

Internationale Jugendbegegnungen in Europa 2017
Du, deine Geschwister, Freunde oder Bekannten sind zwischen 15 und 30 Jahren alt und haben diesen Sommer noch nichts vor? Dann mach mit bei unseren internationalen Jugendbegegnungen in Frankreich oder Serbien oder empfehle sie weiter!
