💬 About me
I am a freelance language trainer specializing in German as a Foreign Language (DaF), Business German and Turkish.
With my bilingual German-Turkish background, I bring not only linguistic expertise but also first-hand experience of navigating between cultures and different ways of thinking.
After studying German Philology, Pedagogy and Turkish, I gained professional experience in teaching, translation, interpreting, organizational development and sales.
Since 2002, I have been teaching German in Stuttgart and in Hamburg for language schools, companies and international employees.
Earlier in my career, I worked in Ankara as a German teacher, interpreter and supervisor for a Turkish-German construction company, supporting German engineers in professional contexts.

🎯 My approach
My work goes beyond grammar and vocabulary.
I help learners understand how communication works in Germany – from everyday conversations to workplace situations, meetings, negotiations and intercultural challenges.
My training is practical, individual and goal-oriented. Through real-life scenarios, role plays and communication exercises, I help learners use German naturally and effectively.

💃 Beyond language teaching
I am passionate about swing dance and teach Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz part-time. Dance has strengthened my understanding of rhythm, expression, body language and group dynamics – elements that also enrich my approach to communication and learning.

Here is a short summary of what I'm doing/performing and who I am:

• The level of each participant is classified by me.

• This is followed by a target analysis. The course is designed so these realistic targets can be achieved at the end of the course.

• You get advantageous prices, especially in comparison to the language institutes for business German. Less administrative costs - nevertheless an experienced, motivated and responsible trainer.

Culture and communication:
I train foreign employees of the German companies and therefore also the interest for different cultures and mentalities. I’m familiar with the problems of "beginners" in Germany and that is why my aim is not "only" to teach the language, but also to support my students in intercultural communication.

People:
I care about people and I am constantly learning from them. In different cultures there are many kinds of ideologies, political perspectives, religions etc. For me, it is easy to understand the type and the need of the people, so I can motivate them.
