ESN Halle Saale ESN Halle is a non-profit students association which assists international students in Halle & encourages local students to go abroad.

ESN Halle (Saale) is an non-profit association founded by former ERASMUS students. We assist international students in Halle and help them to settle in Halle, answer their questions and try to make their time in Halle as pleasant as possible. Additionally, we inform students in Halle about their possibilities to go abroad. We want to promote international learning mobility by encouraging students in Halle to take the first step towards a more mobile future. Our origins lie in a student initiative called 'Erasmus Life Halle', which was established in 2010. In November 2014 we became a member of the International Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and ESN Germany. The Erasmus Student Network is Europe's largest student organization with sections distributed all over Europe. ESN is a non-profit organization operating on the local, national and international level. Subsequently we changed our name from 'Erasmus Life Halle' to ESN Halle (Saale). The ERASMUS+-time can be one of the best experiences in life - we want to help you in making this time in Halle memorable. We offer a lot of trips, parties, weekend trips and cultural events in which international students get to know each other and at the same time be able to discover a little more about Germany.

We’ll meet again at the Irish Fiddler for a night full of good conversations, laughter, and the usual ESN atmosphere. Whether you want to grab a drink, enjoy some snacks, meet new people, or simply spend a fun evening with fellow students — this Stammtisch is the perfect place for it.🫂
And for everyone feeling a little competitive, we’ve reserved two billiard tables again, so get ready for some friendly pool matches throughout the evening. 🎱

The Martin Luther University Faculty of Medicine Orchestra is celebrating its 30th
anniversary, and we’re joining in the celebrations!🎼🎻🪉
We are delighted to invite you to an evening filled with music. The Faculty of Medicine Orchestra and Choir, together with the University Big Band, will be presenting an impressive joint performance in the largest concert hall of our city, the Georg Friedrich Händel Hall.🎶✨
You can look forward to a programme featuring works by Johannes Brahms and Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as a premiere by Ludger Vollmer, performed by the Faculty of Medicine Orchestra under the baton of Bernhard Prokein, alongside a surprise segment by the University Big Band and the Faculty of Medicine Choir.

Our first Yoga Day was such a great experience that we’re bringing it back! ☀🧘‍♀️
Join us for a relaxing and refreshing morning of yoga, movement, and mindfulness. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already enjoy yoga, this session is for everyone. Take a break from the stress of everyday life, recharge your energy, and enjoy a calm Sunday morning with fellow students.😌🫂
Through gentle stretching, breathing exercises, and mindfulness, we’ll create a
positive and welcoming atmosphere where you can simply relax and enjoy the
moment.

Ready for one of the most fun and chaotic evenings of the semester? Then grab your partner and join us for the ESN Halle PeerPong Tournament! ✨
Expect an evening full of competition, laughter, teamwork, and lots of unforgettable moments at the ESN Office. Whether you’re a peer pong champion or just here for the vibes, this tournament is the perfect chance to meet new people, spend time with friends, and show off your throwing skills.☺️
Each team consists of 2 players, so find your teammate and come up with a creative team name! If you don’t have a partner yet — no worries at all. You can still register individually and find your teammate directly at the event.
Drinks will of course be provided for all players, feel free to carry more for yourself and if you would like snacks or food, feel free to bring something with you.🍿🥤

Dear international students,
The Weimar Republic? Goethe, Schiller, Herder? If these names ring a bell for you or if you are interested in culture in general, our trip to Weimar is the perfect opportunity to learn more about this city which has shaped German cultural history
like few others!✨
On arrival in Weimar, we will visit the “Haus der Weimarer Republik” museum with many interesting insights into the first democracy in Germany. 🇩🇪We will then have a picnic in the magical park on the Ilm, constructed with influence by the famous German writer Goethe. 🧺You can either bring something to eat yourselves or get a snack in Weimar. Hopefully well-nourished, we will then give you a tour of the beautiful old town with some interesting background information on the different facettes of Weimar!

‼️What should you bring?
Deutschlandticket, student ID, weather-appropriate clothing, enough to drink and if
you want a picnic blanket and something nice to eat (you can also buy food in
Weimar)

This is why we wanna take you to the place where our beloved “Sterni” b**r is brewed. ⭐️ Join us on our trip to the Sternburg Brewery in Leipzig to learn more about German b**r production in a guided tour in English - a small giveaway is included, of course.✨
Afterwards you can stay in Leipzig for dinner if you like.
