Meet another member of our Student Ambassadors Team! ✨

This time, we are introducing Maiara Daltoe, a PhD candidate in Design at Universidade Europeia - bringing not only creativity and a research-driven mindset, but also the perspective of an early-career researcher to the community.

🗨 I'm a PhD candidate in Design at Universidade Europeia, with research at the intersection of design and sustainable education, and 10 years of teaching experience in higher education. This path has given me one clear conviction: today's sustainability challenges call for an education that crosses disciplinary boundaries and places students at the centre of change.

That conviction is what brings me to ChallengeEU. As an Ambassador, I want to be the bridge between the project and my peers, mobilising them to co-create solutions with real impact.

What does he say about himself?

🗨 As a Colombian tourism student at Mid Sweden University with 15 years of project management experience, I am eager to contribute my leadership, meet people across European universities, and develop meaningful projects linking sustainability, tourism, and regional development.

🌍 Save the date! Universidad Europea de Valencia will host its first International Week from 16 to 20 November 2026 🤝

The event will bring together representatives of partner institutions to strengthen international cooperation, exchange good practices and create new opportunities for students and staff.

📅 Registration is open until 16 October.

Not every ambassador gets a “welcome back” from us - which makes this introduction a special one! 😊

Julia Wysocka studies English Philology at Uniwersytet Warmińsko-Mazurski w Olsztynie. What makes her story even more unique is that she is joining the Student Ambassadors Team for the second time. We do not have many returning ambassadors in our group, so we are especially happy that she has decided to continue her journey and once again bring her experience, energy and ideas to the team.

And how does Julia explain her involvement in the team?

🗨 I became a ChallengeEU Student Ambassador because I believe the best opportunities begin with one brave decision. I want to inspire others to grow, embrace new experiences, and see that opportunities are closer than they seem. Together, we build a community, lifelong friendships, and connections that can truly change lives. If not now, when?

Vishwajeet Kumbhar is pursuing a Master’s degree in International Business Consulting at Hochschule Offenburg, developing the skills needed to work in an international business environment. Now, he will also bring his experience, energy and ideas to support the community 🤝

What motivated Vishwajeet to get involved in promoting ChallengeEU? Let’s hear it in his own words:

Meet our new Student Ambassador!✨

Bożena Sumara is pursuing a Master’s degree in Multimedia and Digital Creation at Uniwersytet Warmińsko-Mazurski w Olsztynie. Her interests bring together creativity and digital communication – areas that play an increasingly important role in building a modern and open academic community.

As a member of the Student Ambassadors Team, she will share her experiences, support initiatives and help us connect even more effectively with students from across our partner universities.

Speaking about her role in the Alliance, Bożena says:
