Another great day at FS France !
This day was all about Autocross. We had a great time on track and finished with a time of 1:31.288! The whole team came together to watch and support the drivers, making it a great experience for everyone.

At the end of the day, the first award ceremony for the static events took place. We are very happy to finish 3rd place in the Business Plan Presentation. A great result and a nice reward for all the work that went into our presentation.

Now we are looking forward to the final day here where we start 13th in endurance.

In the morning we passed our Brake Test! 🎉

Unfortunately we had to miss Skidpad because an electrical part needed to be fixed. We also competed in Acceleration and finished with a strong final time of 3.753 seconds.

In the evening we were again advised to evacuate to one of the surrounding buildings in anticipation of a storm expected to hit us the next morning. Fortunately the storm turned out to be less severe than anticipated. Nevertheless several teams came together and showed great teamwork while securing the campsite as well as building it up the next morning. Furthermore, our camp team did a great job in organising a breakfast in the hall directly after waking up.

Another busy day for us. Day 3 at FS France was filled with static events and more scrutineerings.

First up did we do our Rain Test and passed that first try! Amidst our Brake Test, we failed to stop to regulation. We will give it another shot today and hopefully get that sticker on our car as well.

We also faced some technical difficulties during our Driverless Scrutineering. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be competing in the Driverless Dynamic Disciplines.

In the afternoon we got the great news that we were in the Business Plan Finals! A few hours later, the whole team came together to support our guys during their presentation. They gave a great performance, and we are hopeful about our chances!

Another eventful day comes to an end, and we are proud of how the team continues to stick together and push forward.

Our morning started with a damage assessment after the storm, followed by a shared breakfast with the whole team. The storm may have caused some damage, but it definitely didn’t break our spirit.
We also had Engineering Design in the morning, before moving on to Electrical Scrutineering. We passed that on our first try!

We decided to go for the tilt test on the same day and passed that as well! Our last driver also completed his egress test successfully, meaning all of our drivers are now ready.

The last event of the day was the Business Plan Presentation, after which we finally wound down and enjoyed a more relaxed evening at the campsite. ⛺️

It was another busy and successful day, and we collected three additional stickers for Mechanical, Electrical, and Tilt!

Next up, we are getting ready for the Brake and Rain Tests, as well as Driverless Scrutineering and Cost & Manufacturing. 🏎

Greetings from FSF FS France 🇫🇷🥖
On Sunday, we arrived at our last event of the season, and set up the campsite and our pit. Our Monday started with the mechanical scruti, which will likely be passed today when the battery is fitted back in. We don’t expect any new hurdles there. We were happy to pass the accumulator scrutineering on our first try! 🎉

In the evening, however, the weather took a turn for the worse. A thunderstorm rolled in, and the entire campsite had to be evacuated into the pits for a few hours. Despite the difficult conditions, everyone helped each other and showed great teamwork throughout the evening and this morning. Thankfully, all of us are safe and well. Unfortunately, our meeting tent was one of the casualties of the storm and didn’t make it through the evening.

After a rather eventful first day, we are now looking forward to the challenges ahead! Today, we are getting ready for Engineering Design, Electrical Scrutineering and the Business Plan Presentation.

FSG🇩🇪 - Day 5&6

Nearly a week has passed since we packed up and headed home from Hockenheim, and looking back, we couldn‘t be prouder of how it all came together.

On Day 5 we competed in Acceleration before successfully mastering our Autocross run⚡️

Day 6, the day we‘ve been waiting for, we finally took on
Endurance. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the entire team, we made it through the full run, marking another huge milestone for our team.

There’s still plenty for us to learn from these two days, and we’re already looking ahead to how we can grow stronger for our next event and the seasons to come. Looking back on FSG now, we couldn’t be more proud of what we achieved together!

Thank you FSG | Formula Student Germany for another unforgettable event - see you again next year!💚🩷

FSG🇩🇪 - DAY 4

Unfortunately, some issues with our EBS kept us from competing in the Driverless Dynamic Disciplines.
We‘re staying positive and already looking ahead to the next event! On a brighter note: we got selected for the Helsing Challenge Finals, which was huge news for the whole team🎉
Later that night, we also competed in Skidpad , where we got the chance to run the car on track under night conditions⚡️

Progress at Hockenheim! 💪🏼

After some small issues from the day before, we got straight back to work and passed our mechanical re-scrutineering, followed by the electrical scrutineering - two more stickers in the books! 🎉

Yesterday afternoon, the event site finally opened up for all team members and you could immediately feel the event atmosphere coming to life!

Throughout the day, several other teams stopped by our pit for a visit and we had some really nice chats with everyone. It‘s always great to connect with fellow Formula Student Teams and swap stories from the season so far.

In the evening we wrapped things up with the team welcome ceremony, officially kicking off FSG | Formula Student Germany alongside all the other teams.

We‘re looking forward to the statics and the upcoming dynamic disciplines!
