A massive, heartfelt congratulations to Kirsten (Head of the Examination Office, Faculty of Social Sciences) for winning the prestigious prize in the "Beratung" (Counselling/Advising) category! For over 20 years, Kirsten has expertly and selflessly guided our Euroculture students through their academic journeys. Incredibly well-deserved!

Busy, insightful, and highly practical weeks for Euroculture Göttingen! 🌍

We recently had the privilege of welcoming Professor Christina L. Davis from Harvard University to the ZHG. Her lecture, Sanctions at Sea – and Why They Often Sink, delivered a fascinating look at the “dark fleet,” vessel-tracking data, and why diplomatic ties often trump US pressure when it comes to enforcing global shipping sanctions. A brilliant deep dive into the realities of global governance and international law.

But theory is only half the story. Our Eurocompetence II students took their Project Management seminar straight into the field! Organized by the student initiative SINUZ, the group visited the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG) for an exclusive tour and a hands-on look at managing large-scale projects in a complex institutional environment.

From Harvard-level geopolitics to real-world project management on-site—this is how we bridge theory and practice.
