Die neue Smart Mobility Research Group – aus „sustainable“ wird „smart“ und deswegen gibt es ab sofort auch eine neue Facebook Seite!
Aufgrund der zunehmenden Verbreitung digitaler Innovationen für nachhaltigen und intelligenten Lösungen im Kontext von Mobilität begegnen wir zunehmend digitalen Technologien (wie z. B. maschinelles Lernen, mobile Anwendungen und digitale Plattformen) in unseren Forschungs- und Praxisprojekten. Um eine stärkere Zusammengehörigkeit unserer Forschungsaktivitäten zu erreichen, haben wir uns entschieden, unsere Forschungsgruppe in "Smart Mobility Research Group" umzubenennen.

Die SMRG testet aktuell die innovative Carsharing App "GoeGreen", mittels welcher die Fahrzeugverfügbarkeit für alle Kunden verbessert wird!
Eine studentische Forschungsgruppe unter der Leitung von Benedikt Brendel, wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Professur für Informationsmanagement, hat die „GoeGreen-App“ entwickelt, welche aktuell durch Kunden des Carsharing-Unternehmens Grünes Auto Göttingen getestet werden kann. Derzeit werden weitere interessierte Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer an der Studie gesucht, die allerdings Kunde von Grünes Auto Göttingen sein müssen. Under the supervision of Prof. Lutz M. Kolbe, members of the SMRG contribute three full research papers to the thirty sixth International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2015) held in Fort Worth, Texas from December 13-16, 2015. ICIS is the leading international conference in the field of Information Systems, thus being the most prestigious gathering of academics and practitioners in the IS discipline.
1. Ilja Nastjuk introduced the article “On the Duality of Stress in Information Systems Research – The Case of Electric Vehicles.”
2. Everlin Piccinini, Andre Hanelt and Robert Gregory contributed their research on “Transforming Industrial Business: The Impact of Digital Transformation on Automotive Organizations.”
3. Björn Hildebrandt, Andre Hanelt and Sebastian Firk presented their paper “Entering the Digital Era – The Impact of Digital Technology-related M&As on Business Model Innovations of Automobile OEMs” which was moreover nominated for best paper award.

Jühnde fährt elektrisch - eCarsharing im Bioenergiedorf
Carsharing ist eine inzwischen viel genutzte Alternative zum eigenen Auto. Das Bioenergiedorf Jühnde geht aber noch einen Schritt weiter und bietet in einem Pilotprojekt eCar-Sharing an. Under the supervision of Prof. Lutz M. Kolbe, three full papers have been accepted in the field of car sharing and IT business innovation for the 23rd European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS 2015) in Münster, Germany. ECIS is considered the premier information systems event in the European region.
Andre Hanelt, Björn Hildebrandt and Jan Polier will present their paper on “Uncovering the role of IS in Business Model Innovation.” Simon Trang, Dr. Sebastian Busse, Johannes Schmidt, Tamara Falk, and Dr. Mauricio Marrone will discuss “The Danger of Replacing Human Interaction in IS-Driven Collaborative Consumption Services.” Andre Hanelt and Henning Krüp will present their work on “Feed the Machine: An Empirical Inverigation of the Impact of Openness in Innovation on IT Entrepreneurship.” The conference will take place in Münster from May 26th to 29th. Everlin was also presenting the paper "Changes in the Producer-Consumer Relationship - Towards Digital Transformation".
